Yesterday. An intimate wedding filled with puppies at the ceremony, the cutest ring bearer who’s their son, so many heartfelt speeches from their loved ones, laughs, tears, a telephone guest book (cue the 😭😭😭 listening to your loved ones talk to you in the future) and everything in between. We spent very little time with portraits and so much time capturing the in betweens that make up a wedding day. Congratulations Britt, Tanner and Reggie ♥️

A backyard wedding on the property the bride grew up on, a special first look with her dad before getting into the car that he drove her to the isle in, a first touch with the groom (a first for me and it was 😭😭😭), a day surrounded by their closest friends and family under a tent strung with lights, so many tears, laughter shared, cheers and heartfelt speeches. Thank you for allowing me to be the one to capture your day 🫶🏻

Last night I drove home with splattered paint on my toes and my face hurt from smiling so much. We had so much fun. Megan is an incredibly talented photographer who understood my vision. These three gave me full trust and came ready to get covered in paint!

When I showed up to homestead last evening we both had zero expectations and just let the night unfold upon us. It exceeded my dreams by a long shot.

I had the loveliest branding session this morning for a local psychologist in the stunning showhomes. 10/10 on the planning of outfits for this session 🙌🏼

I will be ONLY offering mini sessions this fall. Yes, you heard that correct. I will not be booking any more full fall sessions this year. These mini session dates will be the only family session availability I will have during the prime fall shooting season.

Here’s what’s different this year from past years. In the past I have given 12 images with the option to purchase the full gallery for $150. This year I have increased my pricing by $50 and include ALL digital files (expect a minimum of 25). I will also be giving the option of 6 different dates with 6 different locations. Nothing will be styled. All sessions will take place in natural locations and be lifestyle based photography.

I lost my love for baking for fun this past year when my mom became sick but this time of year always inspires me to create new things. This lemon blueberry bundt may be a new staple and I can’t wait to enjoy it with my two favourite dads, my mom and boys this evening 🍋🫐

I love love love branding subscription packages because it allows the maker/creator to use a shoot to get behind the camera and showcase their brand and products! We have some fun shoots planned for fall and winter next 🧶
Motherhood deserves to be celebrated and yesterday we did just that. For all the moments that don’t seem like anything but are everything. My goal with these sessions is that every mother has the space to feel loved and appreciated.
What a special day. I have dreamed of these sessions all year and I’m so thankful when they come to life.
