It's official! My Anne of Green Gables wedding dreams have come true! 💕

This lovely couple contacted me in the winter months to say that they wanted to elope to Prince Edward Island and that they wanted an Anne-inspired wedding!😍

They also saw my friend Brittany Aylward Photography's portfolio and loved her style - she DEFINITELY didn't disappoint (and she's a great person too!) - I'll forever treasure these photos as part of my officiant memories

Here are the most divine highlights:

❤️The bride had her mother re-create the Anne Dress from the movies with the exact pattern that Sullivan Entertainment used to dress Megan Follows as Anne.

❤️I got to use the quote "I don't want want sunbursts or marble halls - I just want you" in the ceremony.

❤️We toasted with Raspberry Cordial

❤️The bride had a hand fan that was her grandmothers as her "something old" - the fan was over 100 years old.

❤️The bride had authentic auburn hair - isn't she gorgeous? Also, is it just me or does she actually look like Megan Follows?

❤️ A beautiful bouquet with a collection of roses and wildflowers designed by Sakurah's Flower Studio

❤️ A location in Cavendish overlooking the red cliffs and ocean of Prince Edward Island

❤️I'd say to sum it up "Kindred spirits are not as scarce as I used to think. It's splendid to find out there so many of them in the world"
