Did you know that when Mermaid Danielle is not flipping her tail, she is walking around on land teaching kids and adults how to swim! Gotta prepare the next generation of merfolk.

Last summer I had the wonderful opportunity to attend the Bellingham Acroyoga Campout. It was a weekend of skills, thrills, and new friends. This was just a small moment of fun we had. Flying mermaids always make for a good time 🧜‍♀️🧚‍♀️🤸‍♀️

Happy International Mermaid Day!
I feel so blessed to be a part of this incredible community of merfolk. With mers in every corner of the world, educating, entertaining, and spreading love and magic to everyone they meet, it's hard not to feel like I am part of something so much bigger than myself. Being a mermaid has brought me so much joy, I transform and I finally feel like me. So excited to be able to go for a swim again once the world is safe from this pandemic. Spreading magic vibes across all oceans today.

Pink Shirt Day today aka Anti-Bullying Day! Parents wear your pink too and talk to your kids about bullying, it starts with you! 💜

It is a day when people come together by wearing pink shirts to school or work to show they are against bullying.

The focus for 2020 is "lift each other up."

How did Pink Shirt Day begin?

In 2007 in Nova Scotia, Grade 12 students David Shepherd, Travis Price and a few friends saw that a Grade 9 student was being bullied for wearing a pink shirt on the first day of school.

They knew they had to do something to show that this kind of behaviour was not OK.

They decided to go out and buy a bunch of pink shirts and hand them out to other students to wear.

By the end of that week, most of the students in the school were wearing pink shirts to show support for the Grade 9 student who was bullied.

Wear pink to show your support to help put a stop to bullying 💜
