t. We aim to make sure that you love it as well, not just the magical big day, but the planning itself. Filosophi was founded in 2010 with one simple mission: to give every client a completely stunning, personalized and unique event that is anything but stereotypical. Filosophi's passion-fuelled and award winning team of planners have brought over 600 weddings and events of every shape and size to life, each with its own distinct aesthetic and atmosphere. Often potential clients will ask us what our style or 'look' is - but that's the thing, we don't just do one style or feel, our style is pinpointing YOUR look, and creating something truly different and representative of you, every time. Our priorities are always a memorable guest experience, smooth and seamless flow, and truck loads of really good times - but those can be achieved whether we are putting on a laid-back country barn burner at a farm, or a sleek and elegant modern affair at an art gallery. The style will be perfectly your own, stamped with our signature of flawless ex*****on. We have been lucky to work with clients from all backgrounds and are familiar with a vast array of the cultural and religious traditions and heritage woven into celebrating weddings. We love to be a part of embracing our clients heritage and bringing in the traditions that speak to them, finding ways that honour their culture(s) in a way that truly personalizes the experience. Had a perfect sunny afternoon for our site visit to this week - one of our FAVOURITE sea to sky venues, especially if you’re looking for that iconic PNW vibe. Topped with an overnight stay in their recently added Cheekeye Lodge (perfect for wedding parties or families at it sleeps 16 under one roof!) it was a perfect cabin getaway, hard to call this work! Candid photography absolutely tells a story, but formal portraits capture a moment in time with an equal amount of artistry and skill. We have found many clients these days saying they only want candids, but i for one advocate for carving some time for formal portraits too! The formals, to me, are as beautiful and are often more of a keepsake. So, find a photographer that embraces both! It was a different way to experience the - we gathered and sat 6 feet apart and all joined the zoom on our laptops and phones so we could at least be kind of together! Such an incredible night for our team as we won both event planning categories (and had two finalist weddings in one category, congrats to for that - see second pic!) and as well i was honoured with the Industry Achievement Award! Blown away! We are so lucky to be a part of such an amazing industry and the community of vendors that make it tick. Thank you to everyone for the honour, to the for giving us a reason to celebrate especially during this rough time, to our amazing clients who trust us with their crazy dreams, the vendor partners who make it all a reality and to the Filosophi team for literally being the best in every way! We are mostly through the whirlwind of postponing/rescheduling and now honing in on planning for some fun micro weddings! When working with a tiny guest count the options are endless on what you can do with decor and details - smaller scale really opens up the door for things that would be too costly or time consuming to do by the hundreds.
