I’ve been trying out some mini wreath styles for my upcoming wreath pop up at on December 8 & 9. I plan on offering lush evergreen ones but I really like how sweet moss looks on its own. On a bike ride recently I saw a truck advertising moss removal for lawns, I laughed to myself thinking the opposite, it’s a beautiful design material.

I’m always searching for ways to recreate natural meadows in my event and wedding designs. My favorite places to replicate are farm lands with their swaths of grasses and brambles, forest walks, and coastal beaches. I’ve used lots of dried flowers and items gone to seed grown by plus cuttings from my garden. I’m waiting for the light to get softer and I’ll capture a few more pictures and then the task of carefully taking it all apart and to save each stem for my workshop coming up next month. Xo Anna

Custom wreath design for Spring Collection. Each wreath is a collection of fresh and dried ingredients from that will last weeks stored indoors or undercover on a door. Each stem is placed individually on a natural birch twine base with a wire ball that takes about an hour to create. When you’re ready to take down your wreath, simply remove the stems to compost and snip off the wire ball. The base can be reused again. Each one is unique and has its own silly personality:) Xo Anna

I’ve really enjoyed making these little garden inspired bunches for over the last few weeks for so many reasons; I live within waking distance, I’m enjoying designing regularly; I love flowers; the amazing people; coffee and… well on the list can go. A huge thank you for introducing me to the team, and for your support of my work! I’m taking a wee pause for now but more flowers are on the way. Jen of will be offering her locally grown spring flowers really soon! Her flowers are incredible and her passion for flower farming is shown in everything she does. So the flowers will keep on coming to you at the cafe which is quite wonderful actually.

Bridal bouquets are my favorite design to create. Brides spend lots of precious moments holding and observing it. Lots of flower planning, selection and design time go into making each one special to align with the personal style and personality of each bride. I really am looking forward to making more. Reach out if you are planning a wedding this year. I’d love to make one for you.

I gravitate to neutrals in my designs, clothing, and pretty much everything. My favorite color is brown. And it’s no wonder, according to Pantone, the term “beige” originates from the French word denoting a natural wool that has not been bleached or dyed. Coco Chanel helped make the color popular in the 20’s by crafting fashions from WW1 surplus and creating a global fashion trend. In floral design, beige or brown tones help subdue stronger colors without subduing them and creates color transitions that make flower arrangements easier on the eyes. Do you like neutrals too?
