Tess Anderson at the Rickshaw earlier this year for the BC Children's Hospital fundraiser Band Together!




I wish I had the opportunity to shoot Tess more. She is an absolute gem and so much fun to watch on stage! ✨

Band Together will be making a triumphant return this year at the Rickshaw presented by Brass Camel to help raise money again for 🏥 💕

I wanted to post a photo or two every day in December but alas I have already failed. It is December 2nd and I did not post yesterday 🤷‍♀️

I also forgot to post a few shows from the Over The Hump Tour with back in April! One day I will get around to making a recap video of the tour with all of the shenanigans that went down but enjoy these three today as I catch up on my posting schedule 💝

Headshots and branding photos for DJ 💿

It was pure coincidence that Andre was rocking the Tupac shirt while we stumbled upon the graffiti on the wall in the third picture!

This session was taken back in the summer time as I was getting more practice for portrait sessions! I am fully booked/taking time off in December but will be ready to get shooting again in January! I will also be posting every day in December recapping the amazing year that 2024 was. See you in the new year 🎊

2024 is coming to an end... where did that come from?! I cannot wait to see what and where I'll be shooting in 2025. I want to focus more on photography in my everyday life and not just for "work". I miss bringing my camera with me everywhere I go. My goal in 2025 is to document more of every day life and shoot more candidly ❣️ and travel more hehe 🫠

I'm slowly dipping my toes into doing more videos at love shows, mostly sending raw/handheld camera video files to clients. It really is such a different ballgame compared to photography but equally exciting to do! Maybe I'll put together a little reel and my recent video work 💕

Casey () • Trombonist - Vocalist - Bandleader 🎶

I was honoured to capture these fun and powerful branding shots of Casey in downtown Vancouver back in August!

From her website: "Casey is the founder and director of 10-woman jazz band 'The Leading Ladies' and has been described by Juno-nominated bassist Jodi Proznick as "the future of arts leadership".

'The Leading Ladies' present a rare blend of modern and classic, showcasing beloved pieces from the big band era alongside modern-day originals. Directed by trombonist Casey, this dynamic and vibrant group of young women first came together to perform a single show in 2019. They've stuck together ever since.

Recently returned from their 2024 '5th Birthday Tour' this band has been named one-to-watch on the Canadian jazz circuit. In addition to public concerts and festival performances, 'The Ladies' host and present a number of educational programs."

Casey and the Leading Ladies play the Pearl in Vancouver on November 10th. Check them out!

Ba*****ed Ladies | | at The Pacific Coliseum for Summer Night Concerts at the PNE on September 1st ✨

Having only been able to shoot and stay for the first 3 songs, I almost feel I got the full Ba*****ed Ladies experience! You can tell how much fun these guys are having together on stage. I wish I could have stayed for the whole show... next time!

Thankyou to my 150 new followers over the past couple weeks! It’s been a year since our sell-out show at Fox Cabaret and almost two years since my last release… I think… who’s counting? Anyways, I’m very excited to release my next single “Love Everyone” this Friday and perform it live at on the 31st and .concerts.events on Sep 1st! Right on!
