Have you experienced coming home from Burning Man or other festivals and felt a sense of disconnection from community once integrating into normal life, or a low in energy or less joy? 🌀

🔥 Do you want the feeling you get at festivals to continue throughout the winter and throughout the year? ❄️

🌈 Come to FriendsQuarters this Thursday, Aug 29 for a community discussion, on a possible solution to this and way for our event space to become a place where we can all host the types of events we get to experience at burning man and festivals. 🎉

🏠 We are building a decentralized community hub / event space in downtown Vancouver where the calendar of events looks like the what-where-when guide at Burning Man. 📅

💡 Proposed idea:

A membership model with super low monthly cost (about $25 a month per member) which would allow you to attend events at FQ as well as throw events.

🎭 Events such as:

• Cacao ceremonies 🍫✨
• Workshops 🔧📚
• Talks 🗣️
• Flow jam 🌊🎶
• Acro yoga practice space 🧘‍♀️🤸‍♂️
• Open mic nights 🎤
• Clothing swaps 👗🔄
• Men’s groups 🚹
• Women’s circles 🚺

…and pretty much anything you could dream up🌟

💭 Are you an event facilitator (or someone with a dream of a cool event they want to throw?) who needs a space to host their event without risk of losing money through space rental fees?

🎟️ Or are you someone who would like to attend events?

🗣️ This is an idea we are fleshing out and we are opening the discussion to the community.

🤝 Come join us Thursday, Aug 29 to learn more and participate in the creation.
