Happy independence day to this beautiful country as today we celebrate 201 years of independence from Spain !
Did you know the national bird of El salvador is el Torogoz also known as Motmot . The Torogoz is said to be a symbol of family unity because of how both parents care for their chicks.
It is a beautiful country that never gets the attention it should. It has the most loving and welcoming people and the most breathtaking landscapes but it's so much more than that. There is so much history in this country and there is so much to work towards but one thing about Salvadorans , we never give up !
