This past June, Marco Esccer and Ysadora Dias were invited to participate in a creative residency at the Venables Theatre in Olive.
Marco and Ysa have been collaborating in interdisciplinary performances since 2021. They used this residency to further develop excerpts to be presented at STAND Festival 2024. The work intersects with topics of migration, language, family and queerness. Marco and Ysa shared snaps of their creative endeavors at an open showing where the audience had the opportunity to talk with them and learn more about their creative process.
