Happy Soulful Sunday...meant to post last Sunday. Had a chance to visit The bouquet farm last Saturday for a flower making workshop. The place, the teacher/owner, the workshop and the flowers were so lovely. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a gift for Christmas, birthday, girls event etc. or visit their beautiful shop to purchase a bouquet :)

Happy soulful Sunday…eucalyptus is one of my favourite plants. It looks lovely on its own or looks amazing in arrangements. I ❤️ the smell and beautiful blue/grey/green colour. There are so many species…this one is baby blue 🌿

Happy Soulful Sunday...I got these beautiful purple hydrangea's from my landlord Carol and Eric's garden. Carol gave them to me on birthday. I believe this was grandma giving me a gift from her through Carol...we both loved hydrangea's and she loved purple. Thank you grandma for showing your presence on my milestone birthday ❤

Happy Easter Weekend 🐰

When we think of Easter flowers we usually think of tulips, daffodils, hyacinth...which are beautiful flowers.

This year I decided on some different flowers for my Easter arrangement. ranunculus, mini hydrangeas and mini carnations.

Interesting fact: ranunculus are from the butter cup family with about 600 species.

Happy New Year!!! I know most of us are very happy that 2020 is over and 2021 is here.

One of the reasons I believe we feel that way is it took us out of our comfort zones. Whenever something takes us out of our comfort zones and we have to figure out a new way of doing things it forces us learn and grow. Not all of us handle those things well or are open to it.

I hope as you reflect on 2020 you are able to see the positive things that came out of it.

Whether it was spending more time with your family, spending more time with yourself, slowing down, learning something new, starting a new hobby, starting to focus on your health, being more kind or compassionate to yourself, family, community, helping your neighbours or community, being thankful for where you live, being thankful for having a job, supporting local businesses.

This bouquet for me represents the gratitude that I have for 2020 and the lessons it taught me and bringing good luck into 2021.
