Your friendly neighbourhood choirgirl-turned-DJ, LOUP is a classically-trained vocalist & pianist who stumbled into the rave and never looked back. Their genre-defying sound spans from deep dub to, halftime and drum & bass, blending dark etherial melodies with glittery percussion and a healthy dose of bass. With appearances at clubs and festivals around BC and a number of releases on the horizon, she’s primed to take her multi-dimensional sound to a dancefloor near you.

Docta Strange

Tanner Boman aka Docta Strange aka is an Indigenous Canadian DJ, Music Producer & Audio Engineer based in unceded Okanagan Syilx Territory. His original music is heavily influenced by the sounds of the UK. With Hip Hop influenced drum grooves, Deep Basslines and original sound design Docta Strange has crafted a sound that’s been raising gun fingers and flexing dancefloors across the country. This original sound has garnered him multiple releases on The Widdler’s US based music label "The Widd Fam" as well as a forthcoming release on Canadian based Label “DoYu Deep”. Having earned opportunities to perform at some of the biggest music festivals, and at many of the finest clubs, and events Canada has to offer - including: Shambhala Music Festival Wicked Woods, and Basscoast's Pre Party series, his unique sound, production and blends of genres have created lasting impressions, delivering proper energy to any dancefloor. Always growing his music production abilities, he has captivated audiences, and received track support from music industry veterans such as Abstrakt Sonance, Coltcuts, Wraz, Substance, Metafloor & Greazus. His music selection digs deep, but always features heavy emphasis spanning the genres of Deep dubstep, Dub reggae, UK Grime, Drum & Bass, Halftime, Trap and Hip Hop, with tasteful turntablism accents sprinkled throughout. Alongside creating music he is also the sound engineer, owner and creative mind behind Deep End Productions - a community focused event company based in the Okanagan, featuring a PK Sound system. Highly focused on bringing sound system culture to the masses, Docta Strange is an ever-growing artist and has quickly acquired a name for himself as one of Canada’s finest up and comers beginning to make big moves in the music scene across Canada. When SHVDOW BANNED steps behind the decks, the two different personalities create a monster of energy through their unique style and productions that promises to have you embracinG your inner darkness. Their wide taste in music and influences from genres such as Drill, Grime, Riddim, and Hip Hop as well as other forms of creative media, combined with heavy wubs, eerie melodies, and formidable sub work - will have anyone consumed by their performances if they aren’t already familiar.

Recently receiving first place in the Flowdan/Beatport/Loopcloud 1 minute beat challenge; winning a feature from Flowdan and starting to collaborate on an original project with the 140 Don himself. This led to the start of multiple features and official remixes throughout the industry, as well as bringing international traction to their music and gaining support from the likes of Wraz, Mythm, ODDKUT, Deep Tempo and more.

SHVDOW BANNED has had the honor of directly supporting major acts, headlining at Deep Roots 2022 alongside Chrizpy Chriz, Coltcuts, Teffa, Mungk and Abstrakt Sonance, performing all original 1hr+ sets multiple times at the legendary Red Room Vancouver, and performing at a renegade stage in their first year at Shambhala 2022.
