Vancouver Parks Golf Park. The clubhouses at Fraserview and Langara are also event venues for rent. Vancouver Parks Golf Courses are public golf facilities located in Vancouver, B.C.

Vancouver Parks has a collection of golf courses including Fraserview, McCleery and Langara championship courses plus pitch and putts at Stanley Park, Rupert Park and Queen E. and operated by the Vancouver Parks Board.

Fall course maintenance work continues an our courses. Aeration and maintenance is now complete at Langara and McCleery.

Fraserview golf course will be closed September 15, 16 and 17.

The Fraserview driving range hours during aeration will be as follows:
- Monday September 15: 9 am - 5 pm (last balls dispensed at 4:15 pm)
- Tuesday September 16: 9 am - 5 pm (last balls dispensed at 4:15 pm)
- Wednesday September 17: Driving range CLOSED for Maintenance

This coming weekend, we are honoured to host a wedding at the Langara clubhouse. Services will remain open for golfers and the public, with just a few temporary adjustments:

Thursday, Sept 11 – Regular hours. Patio benches + fire table available, some patio areas closed.

Friday, Sept 12 – Dining room closes at 12 pm. Takeout + picnic patio seating available.

Saturday, Sept 13 – Takeout 8–10 am. Drinks + snacks on first tee until 5 pm.

Sunday, Sept 14 – Takeout 9 am–10 am. Full service resumes after 10 am and will continue until 7 pm.

Monday, Sept 16 – Regular hours + service return, limited patio seating.

We appreciate your understanding during this special occasion and look forward to seeing you throughout the weekend.

Course Maintenance Updates

To keep our courses in the best possible shape, we reminder you that aeration and maintenance are scheduled this month:

~ McCleery Golf Course: Closed September 8–10 (course and driving range).
~ Langara Golf Course: Now re-open.
~ Fraserview Golf Course & Driving Range: Open regular hours. Aeration scheduled for September 15–17.

We hope everyone is enjoying the Labour Day long weekend with family, friends — and maybe a little golf! As we head into fall, our hours of operation are changing across all of our facilities:

⛳ Championship Courses
Starting September 1: First tee time at 7 am
Twilight begins at 3 pm until September 7, then shifts to 2:30 pm

⛳ Course Maintenance Closures
Langara: September 2–4
McCleery: September 8–10
Fraserview: September 15–17
Please note: During Langara’s closure, Urban Forestry will also be completing work on the perimeter path.

⛳ Pitch & Putts
Beginning September 2: Open daily from 8 am to 7:30 pm

🍴 Clubhouses
Open daily from 8 am to 8 pm
Kitchens open at 9 am (Mon–Thur) and 8 am (Fri–Sun)

No Early Morning Back Nine Play This Week

As we prepare to host the Odlum Brown Vancouver Open, with the Maui Jim Pro-Am on Wednesday and the three-day championship starting Friday, our maintenance crews are working hard to bring the courses to championship condition.

To give them the time they need to complete these important preparations, there will be no early morning back nine play this week.

The excitement for the 2025 Odlum Brown Vancouver Open and Pro-Am, presented by Maui Jim and Vancouver Parks Golf, is building as the event is now only one week away.

Today, a special kick-off event was hosted at Langara Golf Course, bringing together members of the media, the Vancouver Golf Tour team, Vancouver Park Board representatives and some of the top contenders for this year’s title. Sonja Tang, Jace Minni, Mackenzie Bickell, and Aidan Schumer were all in attendance, participating in a presentation before heading out for a round to get an advanced look at the course and experience first-hand the challenge that Langara’s greens are known for each year.

The Pro-Am takes place Wednesday, August 20, followed by the three-day championship starting Friday, August 22. Spectators are welcome, and volunteers are still needed to help make the event a success.

Come watch the golf stars of tomorrow, today.
