Às 4 da tarde começa a transmissão ao vivo da Cerimônia de Abertura dos Jogos na telona do cinema. O evento é gratuito e aberto a toda a família (há uma área separada para adultos acompanhados de menores de outra onde é possível entrar com bebidas alcóolicas, bem ao estilo canadense).
