eople looking to express themselves in all their authenticity! Since day 1, PLUR has always been about bringing people together! Our attendees come from a wide array of places, including the Queer, Trans, BIPOC, Burner, Fetish, Swinger communities, and more. From the second you walk in, you’ll experience the warm and inviting atmosphere that we’ve worked hard to cultivate over all these years. For a long time, PLUR has been one of, if not the ONLY sop sex-positive event series in Vancouver, so rest assured that we’ve learned just how crucial it is to keep our attendees safe. Every event features colored wristbands to indicate your level of comfort and is staffed with ample security. If at any point someone makes you feel uncomfortable or does not respect your consent, come find us. We do not hesitate to throw out anyone who is not upholding our core values of Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect. Lastly, we recognize that some of our events can be cost-prohibitive. The reason why our events are typically more expensive than others is that we often hire a large number of performers to take our events to the next level! More than that, we believe that our performers and our staff are core to everything we do, which is why we pay above market-rate when you work at PLUR. However, we know that systemic discrimination has created significant barriers for many marginalized groups in this city. Recognizing this we have committed to holding several by-donation tickets in support of community members for whom cost is a barrier. If we run out of by-donation tickets, but the cost is still a barrier for you, please reach out to us directly and we will be happy to see what we can do! Our Values

The dungeon and intimate* play space will be upstairs, but only in the back area, to leave room for the upper-room DJs and dance floor. We should have enough room for our St. Andrews cross and three benches.

We know consent and our "Play Bands" work well! Our play bands will be issued at coat check to each and every guest. This is MANDATORY!

These bands are great for self-check-in, awareness, and consensual negotiations with everyone

Yellow, Green, Purple, and Red indicate your comfort level

GREEN: I am actively looking for people to play with tonight. Feel free to approach me and ask, to see if we click.

YELLOW: I am open to playing, but likely only with people I approach myself. I will likely turn down anyone who approaches me.

BLUE: Vo**ur, I enjoy watching scenes and will keep a respectable distance, but I'm not looking to play with anyone.

RED: I'm not looking to play with anyone except those with whom I already have a relationship, so please do not ask.

Wristbands can be changed at any point throughout the event based on your own comfort level. While the bands are a great way to check in with yourself and others, open communication and enthusiastic yes is the only form of consent that is acceptable at PLUR.

CONSENT CULTURE ONLY. CONSENT IS NOT JUST SEXY, IT'S MUTUAL AND MANDATORY.

The Penthouse is our home destination for all of PLUR's monthly regular events, so we are honored to have it once again to help host our NYE bash!

With a full venue takeover, meaning the upper floor speakeasy lounge, lower floor club, dance, and stage spaces... which only happens a few times a year. Our NYE party has always been one of our top five must-attends!

Tickets are selling fast, and we have some great options from single pwuca, to full VIP party booth experiences!

So EXCITED! This long weekend we gather together at the Penthouse Nightclub for our newest theme night 👽GALAXY👽 Join us for our kinky space-themed party!

We have already started gathering our space-themed decorations and excited every day to see what we have in store for you! Plus we'll be loading in and setting up our Studio PLUR's JBL sound system to boost those bass notes!

Some of you have been asking about dresscode, and was just over at JQ Clothing on Commercial Drive last weekend. They have some great options for clothing that is silver, metallic, and holographic, to look futuristic! ..and for all genders! Remember this is a kinky space party! No plain clothing!

We have an amazing line up of Dj's, and performers! Featuring music from LUR resident Dj Audacity! Dj Triikster from Victoria, and Stormecloudz!
