PLUR is committed to building spaces that are safe, fun, and inclusive of all people looking to express themselves in all their authenticity! About PLUR
For over 10 years, ScottyHotty and PLUR Productions have been co-creating Vancouver’s hottest sex-positive and kink-friendly community events. What makes PLUR special is our commitment to building spaces that are safe, fun, and inclusive of all p
eople looking to express themselves in all their authenticity! Since day 1, PLUR has always been about bringing people together! Our attendees come from a wide array of places, including the Q***r, Trans, BIPOC, Burner, Fe**sh, Sw***er communities, and more. From the second you walk in, you’ll experience the warm and inviting atmosphere that we’ve worked hard to cultivate over all these years. For a long time, PLUR has been one of, if not the ONLY sop sex-positive event series in Vancouver, so rest assured that we’ve learned just how crucial it is to keep our attendees safe. Every event features colored wristbands to indicate your level of comfort and is staffed with ample security. If at any point someone makes you feel uncomfortable or does not respect your consent, come find us. We do not hesitate to throw out anyone who is not upholding our core values of Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect. Lastly, we recognize that some of our events can be cost-prohibitive. The reason why our events are typically more expensive than others is that we often hire a large number of performers to take our events to the next level! More than that, we believe that our performers and our staff are core to everything we do, which is why we pay above market-rate when you work at PLUR. However, we know that systemic discrimination has created significant barriers for many marginalized groups in this city. Recognizing this we have committed to holding several by-donation tickets in support of community members for whom cost is a barrier. If we run out of by-donation tickets, but the cost is still a barrier for you, please reach out to us directly and we will be happy to see what we can do! Our Values
Peace:
Peace is about recognizing that each of us comes to our events to let go from the day-to-day and have fun. It means we work together to build a space free from hostility and aggression. Love:
Love is about empowering and uplifting the people around you! It means we act with kindness and compassion, with an awareness of each other’s boundaries. Unity:
Unity is about coming together as one community. It means we support each other and stay open to connecting with new friends and people of all identities. Respect:
Respect is about honoring the identities of ourselves and the people around us. It means we listen when people communicate their boundaries and we strive to ALWAYS use the right pronouns, names, and titles for each person we meet.
