Lowkita is a Vancouver-based artist who seamlessly blends Hip Hop grooves, R&B melodies, and Caribbeaninfluences into a sound uniquely her own. Her latestrelease, "Real Friends", produced in collaboration withJane Aurora, redefines friendship through her bolddelivery over a drill-inspired Hip Hop beat. “I want mymusic to reach people worldwide and reflect not onlymy culture but also the cultures that have shaped me,”she shares. Lowkita first made waves in 2016 with her debut EP,"Rude", entirely produced by MR Floetic (Dynasty Boys,Tion Gibbs, Arami). The duo has continued theircreative synergy, collaborating on tracks like "In My Feels" (released February 2021). During the pandemic, Lowkita honed her artistic skillsbeyond music, exploring acting (including a role inNancy Drew) and descriptive narration for Netflix. Her journey into production began in 2020 when sheparticipated in the Equity X Production Mentorship Program, marking her debut as a beatmaker. By 2022,Lowkita was lighting up stages at festivals like Sled Island, and Safe & Sound Vancouver and delivering standout performances at the Breakout West Conference. In 2024, she continued her streak of unforgettable liveperformances, opening for Canadian Hip Hop legends Maestro Fresh Wes, Michie Mee, and Swollen Members.Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Lowkita began herartistic journey as a community dancer before pickingup the mic at 13—a moment that changed her trajectoryforever. “I hope to keep doing this until I’m old andgrey. As long as my mouth can move, there’s nostopping me.”

Tank Gyal is a Vancouver-born-and-raised DJ and event promoter. She is the creator and resident of Vancouver's longest-running reggae/dancehall weekly - TING, which has been rocking every Thursday for well over 12 years. She is also the first lady of Vancouver's sound crew. Tank Gyal has played shows in places far and wide including Jamaica, Mexico, Switzerland, Miami, Las Vegas, Seattle, and all over the Lower Mainland and has performed at landmark music events such as Damian Marley's Welcome to Jamrock Reggae Cruise, Victoria Ska & Reggae Fest, Shambhala, and Bass Coast. Tank Gyal has opened for many top artists including Spice, Shaggy, Damian Marley, Beenie Man Gyptian, Chronixx, Elephant Man, Shenseea, Tanya Stephens, Richie Spice, The Wailers, Collie Buddz, and more. Her DJ sets are a rapid fire throwdown of the hottest Jamaican music from the past, present and future!

Introducing the first character of the nxt chptr on Jan 25/25...The west coast bad gyal !

Mandai has been a long-time staple in Vancouver's underground bass scene for almost two decades. She started out by spending countless hours digging elbow-deep in crates of 45's in Canada, USA, and Jamaica. Her finely curated sets landed her behind the decks continuously and firmly solidified her as a member of Vancouver's notorious crew. She is well known for her legendary mixes, some being all vinyl releases, her true love. Blending reggae/dancehall w/ bass/rap/rnb/grime, her musical repertoire is expansive and fresh. A regular at Bass Coast, she also graced stages at Shambhala, Diversity and her family run festival The Field. She rocked the Thunder Stage at LIB and made ripples at the Moon Stage at the Oregon Eclipse.

She has opened for well known artists in both the reggae/dancehall and underground bass music scenes and will be performing an exclusive B2B set with with us at the to warm up the dance for 's Vancouver debut 🌡️🔥
