Our biggest production to date, and this is all the footage I managed to piece together. So much is missing because we were too busy to capture it all. I’m glad it ended up being the behind-the-scenes which we rarely show - our production studio, the incredible, dedicated, and hardworking team behind La Bomba Floristry.
This was an all-hands-on-deck project up on Grouse Mountain. Trucks packed with flowers winding up the mountain, gondolas loaded with blooms during a heat wave. To say heat stroke didn’t touch us all is an understatement and I will forever be glad to share this memory with the best team in the world.

I wanted this wedding for Alex and Lucas to feel like a contemporary take on an Italian harvest — sitting and feasting in the late summer underneath the vines. Rich, bold colours, trailing hops and gorgeous heirloom tomatoes - Italy in 2024 🍅🍅🍅 Tomatoes were sourced from a dear LBF store customer and tomato enthusiast Jonah. Set against the beautiful contemporary blank canvas that is @thepolygonvenue beautiful and meticulous draping and decor by @debuteventdesign

PARIS AUGUST 24’
Spending three days in Paris with a talented group of floral artists was an exhilarating experience that left me energized and creatively charged. The workshop wasn’t just about learning techniques—it was a deep dive into the art of botanical floral design—the merging of plants and flowers, where every participant brought their unique perspective, elevating the collective creative energy of the entire group.
A huge thank you to the @thishumidhouse team whose expertise and meticulous planning made this all possible. From managing the logistics to offering guidance at every turn, their commitment to delivering a flawless experience was evident in every detail. Their deep understanding of floral art, paired with their ability to push boundaries, inspired each of us to think outside the box and approach design with a fresh perspective.
In a world where floral design is constantly evolving—John, Francoise, Carina and Carol (@thishumidhouse ) are at the forefront, who offered us a chance to witness both their technical mastery and artistic vision. They encouraged us to experiment, take risks, and tap into our own creative potential. The experience was not just a chance to refine our craft, but to expand it, to stretch our skills, and to see the possibilities of what botanical design can be when we push beyond the conventional.
This workshop was a celebration of creativity, collaboration, and artistry. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have worked alongside such talented individuals, and I look forward to seeing how these new ideas will shape the future of our work and our industry.
I hope our creative paths continue to intersect, as this journey has sparked something new in all of us.
