Time together in Church brings us prayerful practice, a sense of connection with the Divine and with each other, and the opportunity to be filled with Spirit. You'll find spiritual practices, an amazing variety of music to move you, a stunning worship space, programs to develop your own spiritual gifts, outreach to help those in need, and community. We are an Affirming congregation, and all are truly welcome. Our worship service is every Sunday at 10:30am (Pacific).

Books of Remembrance! Canadian Memorial United Church was founded in the aftermath of WWI, as a chapel to honour the sacrifice of Canadians in the war effort and a visible sign of our commitment to peace. We also bear the distinction of housing the only other copies of the Books of Remembrance outside of Ottawa. The Books of Remembrance contain the names of all Canadians who served and died in World War I, II and the Korean War. Every year, the Books of Remembrance are open for public display. We are an inclusive and progressive Christian church in Vancouver, BC, where we worship and practice an open-hearted, open-minded faith that takes Scripture and the message of Jesus seriously, but not literally.

As an Affirming congregation, we are committed to working for the full inclusion of people of all sexual orientations and gender identities.
