It’s always the small details that make an event extra special to me.. the things you don’t NEED to have but want to have to make it special. D&S recognized that not all of their guests were extroverted and that some would like a quieter activity-so during cocktail hour we had supply us with all the beautiful materials for guests to build their own flower crowns and it was such a hit! Destination weddings!🥂
are a rush of feelings because so many things are unknown. What’s normal practice in our country often isn’t in another. The currency isn’t the same. Knowing if your guests will all be able to attend is unknown. Logistics are twice the amount of work….but looking at these photos and how happy and beautiful everyone is really makes it all worth the extra effort. We can see L&E truly represented in these photos and that’s so special to us🤍

The reception🤍

This wedding was so intentionally from the cake being two flavours, soft enough to taste amazing but firm enough to hold its bumpy transportation and then adorned with flowers and babies breath.

We had the decor brought in from beholden which seems like no big deal but many company’s won’t deliver to an island, a big enough uhaul had to be rented and a specific ferry reservation booked.

The flowers in the wedding were unbelievable gossip floral took the time to meet with my couple in person, go back and forth multiple times understanding our vision and showed up with a small army the day of to set up seamlessly.. Lauren grows her own flowers! And came back the next morning to tear down and remove left over flowers I have never experienced such a hands on florist in my career she was truly everything I and the couple could have asked for.

The details for this gulf island wedding were so special. M&S were my dream clients they are so in love and perfect for one another. Morgan and I (and her sweet mama) planned what we called (Shaun’s surprise party!) except for the napkin choices that was all our groom haha.

Morgan and I clicked so well it felt like I was planning my close friends wedding and the day was the perfect reflection of M&S. 🤍

Happy Easter Loves 🤍

Funny storey I (Celine) had a call with one of our catering vendors in Italy last week…. It was a early call. During our call she asked which state I was from- so I said no actually I’m from Canada. Imidiatly she was like OH Burr you must not have outdoor weddings there… and I immediately thought about this wedding from October last year where we were running around trying to replace all the black candle sticks becuase it was so hot they were melting before we had lit them!

We were also trying to tie up all of the (heavy) tent walls to let air flow through but with the knowledge that it was still October and we would need to let them down once the sun went down… and our florist needed to attached the greenery around the walls with us still being able to do this 😵‍💫

With a lot of teamwork we pulled it all together for this dream day🖤
