THIS HALLOWEEN…… the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Ga
rden…… is HAUNTED. Every October, Seven Tyrants Theatre stages Vancouver's most dynamic Haunted House event in the authentic and creepy halls of The Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden in Chinatown. Join us again this year at Vancouver’s fastest growing Halloween event. From October 21 to 31, we transform the Classical Chinese Garden into a terrifying Haunted House. Featuring over a dozen actors, dancers and musicians, this one-of-a-kind experience is inspired by the gruesome stories of Judge Dee: China’s Sherlock Holmes. Are you brave enough to make it out alive? WHO WAS JUDGE DEE? Judge Dee was a famous detective in Tang Dynasty China. Inspired by the many stories celebrating his impeccable record of catching criminals, 20th Century author Robert van Gulik wrote a series of original murder mysteries starring Judge Dee, China’s Sherlock Holmes. Judge Dee is now the subject of several major motion pictures, including Detective Dee and the Mystery of the Phantom Flame.
