Our client annual winter holiday dinner! This year was extra special as they were soft-launching their new branding (new colors - navy, coral). We featured new apparel and storyboards around the room to share the rebrand story. As well, a carousel of their beautiful projects on rotation.

On the table - coral soft touch placecards with navy embossed names clipped onto the custom menu with house paperclips (b/c general contractor), black-rimmed chargers, navy velvet waterfall napkins. ++little ceramic house votives. Thank you for the rental goodness!

My amazing florist surprised us by incorporating new brand color - coral! Show-stealing amaryllis flown in from Holland 🤩🤩.

Last but absolutely not least, top shelf service and experience at . Cannot say enough about the private dining experience at Elisa. They are always perfect and thoughtful throughout. They are actually faeries, especially in getting drinks topped up and ordered; the attentiveness is out of this world.

It’s the tiny deets for me! Great night, can’t wait til next year.

First look: a private moment between the couple to see each other before all their friends and family arrive and witness them make a forever commitment.

Forever! That’s a lot of pressure and can stir up some emotions and nerves you may not have expected.

However non-traditional (as you’re not supposed to see each other before the big walk down the aisle), it can really help bring the anxiety down and focus you back to why you’re doing all this in the first place - the person you love most in this world.

A moment of levity and peace before the onslaught of emotion and all your guests wanting to get a moment of your time, I always recommend taking little moments like this on your big day.

This is why I love my job! Check out these amazing photos from Aidan and Spencer’s celebration from Saturday. *Spoiler alert* no event is as simple or easy to plan as anticipated. That's why we are here to provide experience and advice. From budgeting to vendor selection to guest experience planning, there's nothing we can't help you solve.

When conducting a site visit for event planning, it's essential to gather comprehensive information to ensure the success of your event. Assuming you have confirmed date availability and that it works in budget, here is (non-exhaustive) list of things you won't want to forget to ask your venue contact:

Logistics and Services:
- Ask what is included in the rental fee - furniture, av items, linens, parking etc.
- Inquire about in-house services, such as catering, audiovisual equipment, and technical support. Alternatively, are there vendors they could recommend? Discuss the venue's policies on outside vendors and any restrictions.
- Ask about parking facilities, transportation options, and any logistical support provided by the venue.
- Discuss access points for vendors, attendees, and any special considerations for setup and breakdown.

Facility Layout and Capacity:
- Request a detailed floor plan or layout of the event space. Always bring your tape measure and paper to make rough drawings if you feel it necessary.
- Confirm the venue's capacity to ensure it aligns with your expected number of attendees and your desired event style.

Lastly, I always like to ask whether they can think of anything not yet brought up. You don't know what you don't know! They are in that space every day and know the pain points of the venue.

Remember to document the answers and take notes during the site visit, as this information will be crucial when making decisions and negotiating the final contract with the venue.

Sometimes, it can feel like it is all about the bride so we wanted to bring the spotlight to the other half of the love story and give some love to GROOMS. I love checking in with the groom and their party as it is a totally different vibe. Often times, the group is reminiscing and laughing together, playing music and enjoying each other’s company with the *occasional* drink. Not to mention, we have had some pretty stylish grooms in the past who have brought bits of their personality into their attire and we are here for it.

Another 5 Star Review!

G&S's wedding was back in 2018 (ah, pre-pandemic times!) but they still found time to reach back out recently after reminiscing on their wedding day to say that hiring our team was the best decision they made for their day.
