Bricks 4 Kidz® is an educational company that focuses on learning through play. Our hands-on curriculum introduces children grades K–6 to concepts of engineering, architecture, and mechanics using LEGO® bricks.

We have a variety of volunteering opportunities available throughout the year. At this point, we are primarily looking for volunteers who are available for at least 3 hours from 9 am - 4:30 pm during July & August for a minimum of 1 week Monday - Friday. Primary locations will be in Vancouver and/or Richmond.

Our volunteers will be working with our instructors as teaching assistants to deliver our curriculum to children ranging from ages 5 to 10. In exchange, Bricks4Kidz will be happy to act as references in any future endeavours.

All volunteers will need to have/obtain a valid police information check before starting in any of our programs.

Animals for Ages 4 - 6

Join us at Killarney Community Centre every Thursday from 4 pm - 5 pm starting January 18 for an Amazing Animals program geared for children Ages 4 - 6. We'll be learning about how caterpillars become butterflies as well as words for big groups of birds and fish! Within a Bricks4Kidz program, children have fun building motorized models, brick figures, and mosaics - but there also ample opportunities for learning moments like this one. Using LEGO, Bricks4Kidz helps children learn the basic rules of engineering and architecture so that they understand - though hand on experience - how gears, axles, and ratios work together.
