This original song is a trap infused hybrid hip hop track that I wrote about microdosing then walking into a huge magical enchanted forest rave with all the creatures of the night dancing at your feet! I'm super stoked to be spinning this live at Magic the Mushroom Gathering 4: Birthday Bash Rewind Ft NEO1, DJ YAWN, AND FUNGUS HUMUNGUS and at #Otherworld 2024!
You can be the first to hear it live Thursday June 6th at Paparazzi, Saturday June 8th at #Otherworld 830pm to 10pm at #Temple #of #Eternal #Nectar, Sunday 5pm to 6pm at #Thirsty #Bar or last but not least bringing it home Sunday from 2am to 3am at The Triptorium !!!
Couple cool facts to share about "The Mushroom's Rave":
1) The snare is 6 organic sounds pitched and modulated into key then layered on top of each other for a really cool unique sound that has depth in the stereo field. I also layered in a ton of tuned bird sounds, frog ribbits, crickets chirping for natural soundscapes
2) I wrote the lyrics and used kits . ai to transform my SH*TE vocals into a solid enough scratch track to use as backing vocals then I found a pop singer Garson on Airgigs and made a deal with him to cover the track
3) I love the roar Ableton 12 plugin for adding some cool af grit to my bass guitar that you hear as the bassline
4) I pushed myself to write outside of my usual style sticking to deep house with a touch of rave in the second drop
5) This is track 1 of 2 I have completed for my Dreamland EP which I'm super pumped to be wrapping up soon
Can't wait to RAVE with you all for my birthday this week in the nightclub or at one of the stages at Otherworld!
