After 10+ years in my government job, I was diagnosed with a life threatening illness that would completely destroy the ground from under my feet and any near future plans I had. Not knowing how to be the person I was, I knew I couldn’t keep trying to go backwards and that I needed to look forward.

Along with my husband’s support, I made the decision to quit my government job and start my own business, doing what made me feel happiest, everything Events! From planning, coordinating and consulting to gathering with people, bringing joy and new experiences; peaceful environments full of everything you could dream of - I fully believe happiness and laughter is the cure.

Frost & Co. (Formerly Sarah Frost & Co) is a company created not only so I could live the rest of life, within whatever timeframe that may be, happily and to its fullest of my abilities; but also to give people an easy break from all the mental and physical troubles life can throw. Whatever it takes, I will make it happen.

A reminder to everyone in the racing community that VISSA will be hosting a fundraising dance/Western Speedway Reunion on 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟯𝗿𝗱 at the Metchosin Hall.

The night will feature live music from SAXUM and Mid Life Crisis, with a cash bar and light snacks also available throughout the evening. Take the opportunity to catch up with all your racing friends while also helping VISSA's ongoing efforts to secure a new speedway on the South Island.

This isn’t Event related, however, I wanted to share this photo with a piece of personal information with you all, to explain why we don’t post for “Speak up and Listen” often or why we haven’t been able to accept many clients lately. After many friends asking me why I haven’t shared anything yet, I decided this was going to be it!

I’ve been asking myself a lot lately: “Why open a business and say you’ll start your Vlog then just ghost?”
As I mentioned, we haven’t been accepting many events the past two seasons, however, talking about some of the most embarrassing and difficult parts of your life is so hard and I’ve never been good at it. I’m good at talking, just not about the deepest parts of me.

This photo represents where everything started for me and where almost everything has ended. My husband, Co-Owner of this Event Company, took this photo just before I did something I never had thought I would be able to do. Italy will forever carry a role within my heart.
This trip wasn’t just important to me because Italy, more specifically Venezia, was where my mom had dreamed of going and had plans to go before her death, but also because I got to explore a place so special with my husband and my mother and father in law, of whom I cherish and love so deeply.
They each gave me support while I spent a few moments saying goodbye to years of guilt and trauma, pain and suffering but also to say, “see you soon” to my mom.
Along with the “ok” from my siblings and their support, I spread a large portion of our mom’s ashes, through the waters in Venezia’s Grand Canal, while paddling through on a gondola ride.

This post is the first of the “Speak Up and Listen” because this is part of my health Journey and the start of why Frost & Co. was created.

Please feel free to skip along if you’re not interested in listening. It may be boring as I blabber about my health and all of its demands, while trying to keep doing what makes me happiest, Which is; working our Events and providing others their happiness, travel and family time… and obviously GOLF!

While my husband, my In-Laws and I traveled through Italy this past few weeks, I couldn’t help but to be inspired by all the beauty and romance Italy has to offer. Apologizes for the next few days of photo dump- I was inspired!!

We went on vacation to the Pacific Rim. We needed some time with the Pacfic Ocean, during the heatwave, and she gave us so much of her natural beauty to soak in. Along with Vitamin D and Sea, we ate a lot of Gelato and watched the sun set past the ocean line. 🌊🌅☀️🌲

This was the first place we visited during our first months as a couple so it’s always been special to us - now we enjoy it each year with our close friends and family.
