This event is dedicated to the communities in Altadena and Pasadena, and throughout LA, that have been displaced & affected by the industry-caused fires in the Eaton Valley.

"Altadena represented prosperity. It represented joy. It represented unity and Black excellence. And for that to all burn to pieces, it's just absolutely devastating," said Richard-Craven. "It's like, if a history book just lit on fire. This is a history that is deep... Altadena was long considered a haven for Black families who began settling there at the turn of the 20th century and continued trickling in as the years ensued. Some had escaped segregation in the South and took refuge in a place that did not subscribe to the racist criteria of the era for land ownership, an anomaly even in California." - CBS News

Spellbound Blues Vol I is out now 💜

It has been an absolute treat to work with on their debut album release. If you saw me thrashing about in my chair while working on my computer, it's probably because I was listening to this. I was worried that listening to these songs over and over again would make me sick of this album by now, but it has only deepened my love and appreciation for Spellbound Blues and Conure Hand

We are excited to announce a show that has been long in the making! Local sweethearts will join us in welcoming back Vancouver's Post-Modern Connection ( ) and Kamloops' Mother Sun ( ) for an night of eclectic indie rock fusion!

🎸In the ever-expanding indie music landscape, Post-Modern Connection has carved a unique space for themselves with their particular blend of indie rock meets jazz rejects, meets surf rock, held together by soulful, crooning vocals and infectious instrumentals.

🕺🏾Vancouver Island’s Neighbourly weds the freedom of psychedelia with layers of pop and funk influences.
This year they have released two EPs, each embracing distinct vibes as a deliberate challenge to explore and add post-punk & Italian disco tracks into their ever expanding repertoire of island groovers.

🎷Mother Sun create melodic and adventurous rock n roll from the sprawling interior desert of Kamloops BC Canada. The four piece has shaped their sound while burrowing in realms of dream pop, psychedelia, jazz, surf, folk, garage rock and more, as explored in their upcoming 2024 record ‘Meadow 6’.

Good Party & Hot Local Singles Presents: Eventide, July 31st, 2024!

Put on your dancing doc martins, .band (Van.) and .ends (Sea.) are taking the stage with locals and .o.n.g.witch

This free, all ages event is produced as part of the Eventide Music Series, returning for its 11th installment.

This show will take place at "Centennial Square" on the stolen, unceded Coast Salish territories of the lək̓ʷəŋən speaking people, now known as the Esquimalt and Songhees nations.

"Death Make Stardust is a DIY music project that began in 2020, fronted and centred by Sam Kantor and rooted in unceded Lekwungen territory (colonially named "Victoria, British Columbia").
Death Make Stardust is wide, direct music, swirling the personal with the grand, the spiritual and the radical. Echoing this duality, Death Make Stardust exists both in recorded form as distilled, confessional, fuzzy bedroom sounds, and in live form as a grandiose patchwork display, woven together by many friends' hands, guided by the skeleton of these recordings.
With Death Make Stardust, Sam Kantor hopes to create a space where you can feel bad, until maybe you don't. For a while, at least."
