Harlem Nyte is a Chicago-based dancer, choreographer, sensual movement coach and radical body acceptance advocate. Though formally trained in multiple dance styles, she is new to burlesque, celebrating her 1st anniversary in April. During this short time, she has performed on stages in outside of Chicago including Seattle and New York City. She can now add "International" stages on her resume, with Victoria, BC now added to the list. This Summer, she will be performing her first festival: The @ohioburlesque Fest.
When she isn’t performing with the Black, Queer Woman-Owned ensemble Body Confidence For Queens, Harlem is a dance coach at Northwestern University, actively leading community service initiatives in her home base or most importantly, spending time with her family.
