This arrangement, created to celebrate a couple’s 66th wedding anniversary, brings together some of the last bright blooms of the season—dahlias, cosmos, celosia, zinnias—alongside eucalyptus. It captures the golden moments between summer’s end and fall’s beginning. 🌼✨

We’re officially Fleuris Orchard & Blooms! 🌿✨​​​​​​​​​
After a year in the making, I’m thrilled to share our new logo with you. This marks the merging of Glendenning Farm with Fleuris Studio & Blooms.

Maybe you’ve already noticed our new name, or perhaps it just feels like it was always meant to be! You might still see Fleuris Studio & Blooms in a few places as we finalize the transition, and our new website will be launching soon. Thank you for your patience and support during this exciting change!

Why did we change our name, you might ask? As a floral artistry studio located in an orchard, we’re gearing up to offer a few goodies from the orchard along with our floral design. We wanted you to envision us in the orchard, surrounded by the beauty and bounty of the flowers directly grown in the orchard garden.

🌸 Celebrating Canadian Flowers Week 🌸

I’m thrilled to share a special creation from our orchard garden—a sustainable chair garden, designed to honour the beauty of locally grown flowers. This unique piece, showcased during an Instagram takeover with , was crafted entirely with flowers from our orchard garden, including delicate blooms from deadheading and older flowers that were on their way to the compost. I was inspired by a garden chair I saw in a friend’s garden!

The chair garden is a celebration of sustainable luxury, embodying our commitment to using what nature provides in the most thoughtful and creative ways. Every stem tells a story, adding to the lush, romantic elegance that defines our approach to floral design.

Illustrating concepts with flowers is what I love most about my work. It’s not just about arranging flowers—it’s about creating harmony between design and nature in artistic ways.

August Flowers - For the Love of Fennel​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​I find there's something magical about fennel in August—its aroma fills the air, and its delicate flowers seem to dance among the blooms.

This arrangement captures the essence of early August in our West Coast garden. The fennel adds a whimsical touch, weaving through dahlias, Japanese anemones, astrantias and feathery cotinus. It’s a celebration of what’s blooming now, a nod to the wild beauty of the garden, and a reminder that sometimes, it's the unexpected details that steal the show.

🌸✨ Meet Salpiglossis! ✨🌸​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Often called "painted tongue" or "velvet trumpet flowers," salpiglossis add a vibrant splash of colour to our orchard garden and floral design work. With their intricate, veined petals and rich hues ranging from deep purples and blues to bright reds and yellows, they're a true feast for the eyes! Not only are they stunning, but they also attract butterflies and hummingbirds, making our orchard buzz with life.

I love designing with them for their unique, striking patterns. Even though we grow them locally, they bring a touch of exotic elegance and vibrant energy to our work.

To offer you top-quality curated floral designs, it is essential to me to use the freshest flowers possible and leave a positive impact on our environment. Therefore, I grow the majority of the flowers I design with directly in our orchard garden.

🌸✨ Meet the enchanting lupine! 🌸✨​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Lupine flowers, to me, look like the candles on the cake of nature, adding vibrant colours year after year. These perennial beauties also play a crucial role in inviting pollinators to our magical garden filled with orchard trees. 🐝🦋

Their tall, elegant spikes and array of hues add a stunning touch to any arrangement, turning the ordinary into the extraordinary. Whether they’re shining in your garden or elevating a bouquet, lupines are a perfect example of nature's wonder. 🌿💐

Here's where all the magic of floral design happens! 🌸✨​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Welcome to our private design studio, once known as the Twitter House. This charming space was the original "house" on the farm. During renovations, we discovered beautiful drawings within its walls, revealing its rich history.

What used to be a place for wood storage, a chicken coop, and a small living space has now been transformed into a dream workspace. We've added:

A walk-in cooler to keep our freshly cut flowers as fresh as possible.
An open sink area for easy and efficient flower preparation.
The studio itself, where creativity blooms.
Nestled right under the trees, the studio stays cool all summer, allowing us to work comfortably while ensuring the flowers remain fresh. On one side, you can step directly into the orchard and flower garden, while the forest provides a serene view on the other. 🌿🌺

Sweet peas rank among the top of my favourite flowers... 🌸💫​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​These beauties are not just gorgeously curvy and delicately romantic dancing flowers; their absolutely divine fragrance sets them apart, making them shine above and beyond so many other flowers. 🌿✨

While sweet peas are a joy to look at, they are also one of those flowers to be experienced with your eyes closed as you smell their perfume. They definitely know how to transport you to a place of pure bliss. 🌺💖

Apart from the gardens, this gorgeous floral studio, built by my dad a couple of years ago, is one of my absolute favourite places to hang out. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​🌸 To design with flowers, it's important to find a place where you feel at home and inspired. With a view into the forest and lots of natural light, this is also the perfect place for intimate workshops. 🌿✨

I had a great time teaching a wonderful bunch of creatives at our sustainable spring arrangement workshop last weekend!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​We started in the garden, observing flowers and then moved in the floral design studio, at our floral farm.

I'm always thrilled to see the creativity participants bring to life using flowers from the garden. It's amazing to witness the diverse directions each arrangement takes! Even though everyone used the same vase, they ended up in various shapes and sizes!

I love helping inspire participants to create their own style and guiding them through the process of designing!

Red anemones are one of those flowers with such strong personalities that they are either loved for adding exactly the right touch to an arrangement or not fitting in at all. I love growing them because when they're in the right place, they know exactly how to shine!

Our flower season is open! ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​I love designing with fresh spring flowers from our garden. Watching the garden come back to life with tulips, ranunculus, hellebores, Solomon's seals, and many more favourites makes me hopeful about life, and makes me want to share the bounty with flower enthusiasts.

With a bit of nurturing, nature's beauty is there to sooth and surround us. She is a powerful reminder of our ability to cultivate all that is positive in our surroundings. 🌸💐

We cut them at the perfect stage and time of day so they are at their freshest. We work with unusual elegant flowers that would be too delicate for most flower shops to source. Last weekend's bridal bouquet for Grant & Crystal's wedding!​​​​​​​​​

When I handed Crystal her bouquet, she said it was exactly what she had wished for. It couldn't be more perfect. She later added that the flowers were even more incredible than she could have ever imagined.

Later in the day, Grant came to me with tears in his eyes and said: "Thank you! My wife is so happy with the flowers. They are stunning, and we can't thank you enough. They are a true work of art."
