Decor Tip: Repurpose the Aisle Decor for the Reception.

Think green and reuse the aisle decor for the reception. You'll save a few bucks and get the most out of what you have.

Repurposing aisle decor for the reception is not only eco-friendly but also adds a cohesive touch to your wedding décor. Here are some of my favourite ways to repurpose Aisle Decor and make the design transition seamless:

1. Floral arrangements: Move the floral arrangements from the aisles to the reception tables or buffet area. You can place them in vases or mason jars for a rustic feel.

2. Pew markers: If you have pew markers, you can repurpose them on the cake table or as accents on the guest table or head table.

3. Candles or lanterns: Transfer candles or lanterns used to line the aisles to the reception space. They can be placed on tables, along walkways, or as part of the overall centrepiece arrangement.

4. Aisle runner: If you used aisle runners, repurpose it to create an amazing grand entrance walkway for your guests.

5. Signage: Any signs used along the aisle, such as directional signs or welcome signs, can be relocated to the reception entrance or near key areas like the bar or dance floor.

6. Chair décor: Any embellishments on chairs, such as ribbons or floral accents, can be transferred to the backs of chairs at the reception or used as additional decoration on the cake, guestbook or sweetheart table.

Well, I can't tell you exact square footage, but I can tell you it's a lot. We have two sheds, a barn, a 2-bedroom suite, a large build-on to the house, an entire basement, an attic, and a 2-car garage, and we are excited to announce our latest build. We are building a new 2-storey garage.

💐Do you know the difference between a Chuppah, Mandap or Wedding Arbour?💐

A Chuppah is a Jewish wedding arch that symbolizes a home that the couple will build together. It has four corners and a covered roof.

A Mandap is used in Indian weddings and Hindu ceremonies. It also has four pillars and a covered roof. The Mandap represents earth, air, water, and fire, which represent energy and symbolize spirituality. The four pillars represent the 4 stages in life.

A Wedding Arbor is a more generic term for a decorative structure used in weddings, which may or may not have religious or cultural significance. It can take various forms, such as a simple 2-leg arch or a 4-leg canopy.

Whichever arbour suits your style, we can customize it with draping, florals, beads and other garnishes to suit your style and create an amazing focal for your ceremony.
