We've come to the end of a very long and beautiful season for dahlias. We were so fortunate to have great local growers who provided us with some gorgeous colourful dahlias. There is nothing quite like them. They can be combined with any flower. They are, in our opinion, the perfect summer and fall flower.

Last night was the opening of Mozarts, La clemenza di Tito. We had the pleasure of making the lobby arrangement. We tried to reflect this opera's dramatic tone with these equally dramatic peacock feathers paired with the full, lush roses, which capture a sense of romance also felt in this opera.

We were fortunate to be able to play more with some beautiful locally grown summer blooms last week. The dahlias are still growing and glowing. They pair beautifully with the hydrangea, delphiniums, and roses. Perfect combination for any late summer arrangement.

We are still enjoying all the gorgeous locally grown summer blooms this week in the shop. Some summer arrangements, like this one, look like they are straight out of the garden. The peach dahlias, pink roses, and zinnias and the deep fuschia hydrandeas are a beautiful mix of summer blooms that lead us nicely towards fall.
