In the midst of planning your ceremony decor? Right on! Here’s some of our best tips!

🌸🌸 your ceremony florals will be THE MOST PHOTOGRAPHED (other then the bridal bouquet) flowers of your day - push as much of your flower budget here with plans to re-purpose elements to your reception. Featured here are centerpieces doubled as low aisleway markers

🌸🌸DO NOT rely on your friends or wedding planner to move ceremony flowers to your reception (exception would be moving 2 ceremony displays on pillar stands). Look, you’ve spent thousands of dollars on your flowers, ensure they are moved correctly, leaving your expert (US) to re-work your displays to look absolutely stunning. We will account for our extra time and come with extra blooms to re-design elements to ensure they look like they have never been moved.

Some really great news to all our Poppy lovers. The flower truck is staying on the island!!! The wonderful, the sweetest is now the proud owner, we even hear Poppy is getting a new name (head over to to follow the NEW reveal!)

So as The flower truck and Sheila get all dolled up together, please don’t forget to support Sheila on her new adventure. I hear she’ll have a few spots located right in Sooke.

It’s not very often we get the call to create soft buttercream yellows. So when K ordered up shades of yellows, we were like ‘challenge accepted’. Because K booked us early enough, we actually were able to grow custom yellows JUST for her in . The dahlia, cosmos, scabiosa, love in a puff, snowberry, armanthus, and astrantia all were organically grown here right on our lands! Truly can’t get any more sustainable than that. When we get to include our owe flowers into designs, there’s nothing more that fills our hearts with more joy!

Ah! Finally a moment to feature this stunning wedding! When K + J first discussed their wedding and what they wanted to FEEL in terms of atmosphere on their very special day, it was ALL about Forrest vibes. We wanted to transform the Prestige spaces into lush greens everywhere! And so, we did!

Eep! We’ve accomplished an insane amount of things these past two weeks. And while I’m not quite sure we’ll be in full social media swing just yet, something else occurred while we were heavily focusing on our needs and where we want Platinum to go so, …. It’s time! Poppy is up for grabs!!! Yes, that’s right, it’s time to pass this cute truck along to the next creative individual who wants to take Poppy to the next level. If you’re interested in making Poppy apart of your life, reach out and we’ll send you all the information required. Poppy was there for us during the pandemic lockdowns and it will be incredibly sad to see her go! But it’s time!

Wow! Such an awesome wedding season thus far and I am looking forward to sharing more in a couple weeks - yes it’s true- we’re taking a social media hiatus for a few weeks. BUT I PROMISE YOU ITS FOR VERY GOOD REASONS. We’ve been heavily focused on our build out and we’ve got all hands on deck. We truly want to be present without any distractions while we are in the designing phase because it’s just so incredibly important to get it right the first time so we can invite you all into the greenhouse for epic rental opportunities. So while we finish final design drafts and speaking with our contractors on the end goals, we will be limiting our social media time. Don’t worry, it won’t be forever because we are going to be reaching out to you, our amazing followers and supporters for design input. Plus PHOTOGRAPHERS, stay peeled as we will be offering VIP monthly studio rentals and will we taking a limited number of you! One spot is already filled!!!!! We are SO excited to share this greenhouse with you, our installations, our photography set ups, intimate dinners, workshops, collars, and maybe intimate pop up elopements!!

Holy smokes, this heat!!! Reminds me of this stunning wedding we completed in the scorching heat just last year! We arrived fairly early to create custom floral pieces such as these, but created them in the shade and moved them into place at the last possible moment.

🌺🌺Floral tip of the day!!!! Flowers are delicate when places into direct sunlight and often want to fade quite quickly. If you know your event is taking place on a day with high temperatures, communicate with your florist. We will often re-configure timelines and try to reduce the flower exposure to the sun. However, please remember to be gentle. We cannot control the way the flowers will react under such extreme pressures, but we will mobilize to prevent sun wilt!
If you’ve planned to move your ceremony flowers to your reception, you might want to higher your florist to remain on-site and bring extra flowers as replacements for reception display to ensure things are looking absolutely perfect.

I’ve had some of you reach out asking more about the farm house so I’m sharing a very intimate part of my life. My great, great grandfather built this home in approx. 1907. He purchased a Hudson Bay house kit which cost around $2000 dollars at the time. The kit came with everything required to build the home including scaled house drawings. It took about two years to complete the build, with his family living in a very small shack just outside the main build out. The farm had been passed down to my great grandfather where my grandparents and mom grew up for much of their lives until great grand-dad retired, aged and moved into town. The house/farm was abandoned and it’s been weathering Saskatchewan winters, summer storms ever since. The house still stands true with not one creak in the staircase. Although weather is indeed slowly taking it back year by year! I’ve always held such an incredible connection to this place and will be incredibly sad when nature takes this building down.
When my grandma passed, I had asked for her to hold back the farm yard and ten acres of land for me while she sold off hectares of land as no one was interested in taking the land over and continuing leasing the land as she had.
I’ve redrafted the house to scale along with the ten acres making flower sanctuaries and A frame styled rental cabins, a retreat in the wilderness, by the lake, a place to invite people to be with nature …. And maybe, just maybe one day that will happen.

But for now, we watch nature reclaim her roots perched up on the hill and listen to stories of our ancestors farming the land, swimming in the lake and catching sunsets like you wouldn’t believe. Definitely a piece of my ❤️

We re-designed this awesome selfie wall today at . We cannot wait for the neon Parkside Signage to be installed to complete the scene. Today we dripped romantic roses for . Cannot wait for this fine event to hit the Victoria scenes. Layering the roses in group clusters advanced the look into high end artistry and we loved the final outcome. Bridgerton vibes galore!

Each workshop/diy kit is accessibly priced and fun for the whole family. Although we highly recommend anyone under the age of 10, have an older helper.
