The ever so talented hits the borderline area with this little run in April. will be providing opening support for all three shows.

A singer/songwriter with east coast roots, Seth blends elements of alt-country and indie-punk, anchored in catchy, truth laden, heart driven lyrics. Spending most of the last two decades immersed in the Rocky mountains of Canmore, Alberta, and touring internationally, he now calls Calgary home. In 2016 he joined the ranks of Joey Cape’s (Lagwagon) One Week Records roster based in San Francisco, CA to reveal his fourth full length effort.  Most recently, Snappy Little Numbers Records (Denver) welcomed Seth for the release of his 2020 album “We Could Be.”, recorded with Eamon McGrath, and his latest single “Big Red Sun”.  

For fans of The Weakerthans (John K. Samson), Iron and Wine, Chuck Ragan, and Steve Earle. Performing solo, or with his backing band, Seth’s sound is original yet familiar, and appeals to folks of all walks of life.
Seth will be performing solo across the US and Canada this Summer building anticipation for a new album which he entered the studio in July to record with Lydia Loveless in Columbus, Ohio.

With lots going on at this time of the year I thought I would send out the tentative set times.

The show should be done by 12:30am at which point own DJ JOHNNIE B will be taking over for spinning the hits to close out the night.

For a fun treat if you think you got some talent or just want to make a fool of yourself will also be doing their on that side at 10pm. Who knows you might even find the pals from Quit It over there instead of playing their set.

So once you are done at the game or the Irma Fireman’s Ball come on down and have a great night full of music.

Due to some unforeseen circumstances both The Montana Project and Kyle Mattson will be unable to make the upcoming October shows with Seth Anderson.

The show must go on though and that’s where the ever so talented Michael Dort from has come to the rescue. Michael will be hoping on both nights with Seth and Seth will be playing a double set at each show to fill the void.

A little late to the game but I wanted to think of what this year will be.

This year I am going to focus on helping promote events going on in the community along with connecting bands, venues and community.

This past year felt amazing to get back into concert promotion/production and fuelling my passion for music and community at the same time. This year I will be taking a little different approach as Danielle and I are really ramping up our business and most of my time outside of my full-time job will be spent on that.

I want to spend this year connecting people, whether that be by promoting existing events already going on in the community, connecting bands with venues, volunteering with the Wainwright Arts Council, or whatever seems to come my way. I do have a couple shows in mind that I still plan on putting on this year as well.

My goal is to always build a strong music community in Wainwright and that can take many forms. I am excited for things to come this year and to see how a community can build. The first thing I am personally focusing efforts on is spearheading a local Musical Showcase Night as part of the Wainwright Arts Festival, if you are within 100km and want to apply message me.

The town will be bustling with happy shoppers Saturday November 26, and we are so excited to showcase some local gems at the store! We will be featuring two great businesses.
First up is .crossbarranch a 100 year old ranch nestled in the heart of Alberta will be here showcasing their farm raised bision products and custom charcuterie boxes, you won’t want to miss sampling these premium products!
Our second local gem is will be back again with their thoughtfully curated premium pieces for all the littles in your life! This is a great way to shop and cross of all the babies and young ones on your Christmas list!

Thank you to all those who came out to support another night of live music in Wainwright, it was a blast!!!

I would like to take a moment to thank those involved starting with the bands. The local rockers The Montana Project didn’t disappoint by starting the night off right. were such amazing artists and people. It was awesome to hear them and to watch them he crowd line dancing to “Cadillac Ranch” (I guess those junior high dance classes do pay off).

Thank you to Jane and Stephen for hosting the show at JD’s Saloon. Thank you to the staff there for keep us hydrated and making sure the coffee pot stayed on.

I also want to throw a big shoutout to those that partnered with us for giveaways this time. I was blown away with the support from the community on this. I will do a separate post on this but here are the awesome people that made it happen:
