Flower lovers! It's been so long 🤍 I returned yesterday from ten glorious days in Oahu with my husband, celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary, so it's been very quiet here as a result.
Before we left for our holiday, I was able to get an incredible amount done in the gardens but had no time to share, so I'll be sure to do that over the next few weeks. I've never had my gardens planted and mulched so early, and it honestly feels so wonderful to come home to. Not that there isn't more to do, the farm garden needs more mulch and water lines put in, and everything needs to be weeded, again 😅
There are a handful of weddings booked for the year, and I am SO SO looking forward to working with my beautiful clients starting in July. There will be so much beauty created!!

For now, I leave you with one of spring's loveliest combinations, Columbine and Snowdrop Anemone, and a little peek into our holiday 🩷

A few pop-up details for you.

- items are grab and go/first come, first serve
- I will not be on site for these pop-ups, but everything you need for your arrangement or bouquet will be clearly laid out for you
- Sparrow will have cut bouquets and a selection of arrangements, while City Perks will have a couple of small stands with only cut bouquets
- it is unlikely I will restock for Saturday, but if I do, I will be sure to share that information here

I am all about the bright florals these days! It's always exciting to chat with couples about their wedding flowers, but lately, I'm extra thrilled when bright colours appear in the palette. Don't be afraid to add a little colour into the mix. A rainbow isn't necessary, but even a couple of carefully chosen colours can help uplift an otherwise neutral palette in a beautiful way.

The Nerine Lily is a delightful choice for that bold, bright pink and adds an interesting texture with its thin, narrow petals. Symbolizing affection, connection, security, and joy, with its name founded in fairy-tale, it makes a lovely addition to wedding designs.

The loveliest flowers are arriving for Valentine's Day. Like these Pink Expression garden roses that have the most beautiful fade from pink to peach.

I took your comments and suggestions to heart from the Valentine's Day pop-up so I am hopeful that it shows 💕 I feel this pop-up is a much better reflection of me and my business and I hope you all can truly feel the love that has gone (and will still go) into this. Thank you to everyone for your dahlia tuber orders. There is still plenty available on my website. You're welcome to pick up if you're in the Warman area, or select local delivery if you're within our delivery area, otherwise, expedited Canada-wide shipping is available for a flat rate of $25. Current local pickup orders have been all packed up with notices sent. Canada wide shipping will commence as soon as this prairie weather warms itself up, hoping by the second week of April. I've got orders from coast to coast, British Columbia to Nova Scotia, to send out, and I'm pretty dang proud of that fact because imposter syndrome is no joke, friends. Never mind that I've been growing dahlias successfully for six years now, for some reason selling them felt like something I wasn't allowed to do.
