Lots of Hepcats are going to the New Years Eve Dinner and Dance with the KW Kool Swing band at the Naval Association in Waterloo! Come and dance in 2025!

We are still in holiday mode at Hepcats, giving our dedicated teachers and volunteers a well-earned rest, so there will be no dance on Monday Dec. 30… however, there’s definitely been rumblings of New Years Eve plans here in town!

The KW Cool Swing Band is hosting a potluck dinner and dance at the KW Naval Association on Dec. 31, with admission being a suggested $20 donation and food to share. Hepcats looking sparkly at the Winter Soiree hosted by Steel City Swing. Sources say it was a night of dancing with friends to the lovely music of The Savoy Band at Ancaster's Old Town Hall, a gorgeous historic venue.

What a turnout! More than 40 wonderful dancers turned out at the Monday Night Social Dance at Hepcats which included a bonus lesson for dancers who'd completed the recent lesson series.
Thanks to Dylan and Jeff for making it happen.
Also, congratulations and thanks to Hepcats newest dancers for venturing out to join us.

By all accounts the Community Outreach Dance at the Court at Laurelwood was a huge success! It was a collaboration between the fantastic KW Kool Swing Band, Hepcat Swing, and the residents and staff at the Court at Laurelwood. The after dance get together with the dancers and band was also a hit!

There are more Outreach Dances coming up in the new year! Come, be part of the fun and meet some lovely and lively seniors.

Mon. Dec. 9 is a special social dance night at Hepcats. For people who've taken lessons during the Nov./Dec. 2024 series, Jeff and Dylan are offering a FREE bonus class featuring new dance steps. Entrance to the 8:00pm social dance is also FREE.

If you missed out on Nov./Dec. classes, still plan to join us. Entrance to the social dance only is the same price. The cost for the social dance + the bonus class is $25.00.

A new series of 6-week classes starts during the week of Jan. 6, 2025. Keep an eye on the Hepcats website. Details will be posted soon.
