Is it too late to wish you all a Happy New Year? I guess I kinda did it already and no take backs! I felt like January is a perfect time to introduce myself if you’re new around here! If you’ve been here, thanks for stickin’ around ♥️

My name is Brittany Carovillano and I am the lead coordinator of Rose Water Weddings + Events. I have been a planning and executing celebrations of all types since 2015, which is insane to me. It feels like yesterday I was over the moon about passing my licensing exam for Paralegal and now I don’t even know who that girl is!! So let’s just talk about who I am now and share things about me that have zero to do with my business 👍🏽

1. I’ve read 4 books this year so far and not a single one was educational. And yes, I am aware it’s January 9th.

2. Hercules is my favourite Disney movie and i have always wanted to do a group “Muses” costume.

3. I don’t understand why people get hyped over red velvet anything. Isn’t it just excellent marketing?

4. I graduated from singing in my shower in 2022 and I am in a pretty awesome cover band called 🎤 ✨

5. The style I’m drawn to these days feels like 90s nostalgia with a pinch of Sir Elton at his sparkliest ✨ You should see the boots I just bought!! 😍💜

I was going to pick a more professional picture but this one felt more authentic. If you can get past the weirdo, a super fun weirdo is inside 🥂

Does anyone else low key hear Ross Gellar saying his famous line (not pi-VOT) when they read any variation of these words?? Just me? Cool cool cool

I know it’s wild but it’s also true!! For the first time in a long time, I am going on vacation during wedding season!! My favourite human and I will be jetting off for a week to finally spending some time together in a time when we don’t usually see a lot of each other and to celebrate 5 years of marriage ♥️

I know you’ll miss me but don’t worry! RW family member, , will be manning the inbox and monitoring our socials because she’s awesome like that. Thanks girl!!

Until then, I will be in the office crushing my to do list and mentally packing!!

As I wrap up another day of new client meetings, emails, itineraries and site visits, I find myself feeling that mid-season “grind”. That end of July fatigue that hits event pros and could crush you BUT, it won’t bc the love will always win out. The love of our clients, what we do, what we can offer and the love of the professional growth we see each season. If this were a Nike ad, this would be a great place to say “Just Do It” but it’s not and that’s not all it takes. So, do it because you love it and keep doing it because you are crushing that grind, it is not crushing you.

Kicking off May with a bang!

About 5 years ago, I got married and wanted wedding photos with my dog Harley🕊️. Even at 12 years old, he was a bit of a handful and trying to wrangle an excited pup in formal wear is a task! That experience created the RW Wedding Day Pet Services Package.

I wanted to be able to offer RW clients the options to have their fur babies as a part of their big day without the stress! A personal handler to help entertain, play and care for your animal. All while getting them down the aisle (if requested) and getting the good poses for the camera. We come armed with all the essentials, special treats and we love dogs! Let's talk about seating charts! Your seating chart is the first thing that guests see (or are looking for) when they are entering your reception. This particular component is usually regarded as functional and not a focal point. Morgan and Adam took those two traits and married them (yup, i did that) to create something truly stunning.

Upon entry to Morgan and Adam's reception tent, guests were greeted with a larger than life seating chart with the title of "Our Favourite People" displayed prominently at the top. If they were ever apprehensive about the title being true, once they got a little closer it all became clear. Displayed on this homemade backdrop were envelopes addressed to each couple in attendance. Inside their respective envelopes, guests would find their table number and personalized thank you letter from the Bride & Groom.

I was so damn teary while setting this one up. Once I realized what my clients had done for their guests.. TEARS. They were already just the sweetest humans and this just inducted them into the hall of fame.

✨ IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!! ✨I have been so excited to share this shoot and it's finally time. Today I am 34 and fabulous! Getting a little more extra with every year and zero signs of stopping. It's my party and I'll vibe if I want to!

Fun fact, MMF was where I coordinated my very first wedding. Much like my own business, this venue has grown and changed so much over the years. I remember thinking it was stunning back in 2015. In 2023, it will take your breath away ♥️
