Sanctuary Gardens is located on a picturesque vineyard acreage, offering an intimate, private setting overlooking Okanagan Lake in the Gellatly Bay area of West Kelowna. The wedding gazebo, Rose Room and surrounding garden area can be rented for smaller wedding ceremonies (up to 60 guests). Sanctuary Gardens is not open to the general public and appointments are necessary to view this private residence.

Loving what happens when a garden is well watered, from actual rain. After a harsh winter and a dry start to Spring, these recent all day rain showers are making a big difference and everywhere I walked, I could see growth. What once looked dead now has signs of life with new green shoots appearing out of the dirt. Dead branches are sprouting tender green leaves. The dry ground is drinking up every drop. Amazing to watch nature rejuvenate before my eyes. Thankful for the Spring showers. 💚🌱💚🌿💚🍃💚

your ceremony may be a short part of your wedding day, but it is the most sacred part of the day. This is where you legally, emotionally, and physically become husband & wife. Choosing and planning the details of your ceremony are very important. Things to consider:

• length of ceremony: I recommend no longer then 30 minutes, 20 if it is in the heat of the summer.

• vows: are you doing your own vows? Private or spoken for everyone to hear? There are many ways to incorporate your own vows into your wedding day, without saying them for everyone to hear.

• location: do you want your location to be seperate then your reception? If so, consider the time of day you do this at to ensure you leave enough time in between for photos, transportation, and delays.

• officiant: religious? Spiritual? Short n’ sweet???
