We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. The successful applicant will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, caring for our beautiful selection of fresh flowers and plants, and ensuring the overall aesthetic appeal and cleanliness of our flower shop.

This is not a design position. This important role supports our floral design team and ensures the store runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service:

- Greet and assist customers with their floral needs, providing recommendations based on occasions and preferences.

- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.

- Assist in managing the delivery process by entering delivery information accurately in the delivery software

• Inventory Management:

-Monitor inventory levels and ensure the shop is well-stocked with vases, giftware and supplies.

-Assist with receiving and processing flower deliveries, including proper care and storage of flowers.

• Shop Maintenance:

-Keep the shop clean, organized, and visually appealing.

-Ensure all displays and products are attractively arranged

- disinfect flower buckets and vases as needed

• Sales and Marketing:

-Promote additional products such as greeting cards and gift items.

-Assist in implementing marketing strategies to boost sales, including social media posts and promotions.

• Skills and Abilities:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-oriented approach.

-Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

-Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.

- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle flowers, including lifting and carrying heavy items.

Working Conditions:

-Full time, long-term position, Mon thru Fri.

- Occasional Saturdays if/when the weekend team needs support

-Availability during peak floral holidays/seasons required

-Work is performed in a flower shop setting with exposure to varying temperatures due to flower storage requirements.
