The Wedding Centre “The Wedding Centre” – a community of some of Durham’s most reputable wedding businesses in one spot. Engaged couples who are starting their wedding planning will find a wealth of knowledge and experience all under one roof. Empty Cup Media, an in-house vendor in the Wedding Centre shot and edited this commericial to help promote the open house events we hold every season. Our next event is on February 25 from 5:00 – 9:00. Visit The Wedding Centre at 1751 Wentworth St. in Whitby to Crash our Wedding Centre! Our Annie Lane warehouse and showroom will be open as well , and we will be booking appts throughout the day and evening if you would like to get together !

Our Story

Annie Lane Events celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2017!

We, Eva Vandersanden & Nancy Makins, founded Annie Lane Events and Decor, Durham Region's premier Decor & Specialty Rental Company, in 2007. We specialize in designing for Weddings, Corporate Galas and Proms, but also offer in-house rental services on many of our products.

Our decor services include backdrops, ceiling treatments, table decor, tent draping and ceremony draping. Our rental services include linens, chair covers, centerpiece rentals, specialty rentals and theme props.

We work closely with wedding planners, venue co-ordinators and tent suppliers to bring to life our client's vision.
