Unlikely Events Yukon (UEY) is a not-for-profit charity that has been delivering arts events to the Yukon Territory since 1980. It has an established history of producing accessible and innovative productions that appeal to a varied audience and have lasting impact on the development of the arts in the Yukon. Over the years

, the society has toured the territory with many workshops and theatrical productions, within schools and other community institutions. In 1998 UEY expanded its repertoire by producing community celebration projects. UEY’s Winterval and Burning Away the Winter Blues have become two staple seasonal events that are awaited by community members. UEY continues to grow as an organization by diversifying its programming and delivering an increasing number of contemporary arts opportunities to Yukon residents.
