Maddy definitely has a love for ravens and crows... even if she doesn't know it! Going through her past shows, there has been one common image-a raven or crow. This was totally not intentional-but maybe it should be going forward!
The first picture shows her latest raven painting in Extraordinary Ordinary at Tipple Park Museum. The picture is of a raven at the pet cemetery near Brule overlooking the Athabasca River. The painting was created using ground up coal from the abandoned Brule Mines.
The other picture shows all of her other raven/crow art from previous shows!

This is one of the largest pieces Maddy has done (besides her murals).

It features two sandhill cranes in a field of aspens.

We have exciting news! Maddy has an art show opening at Tipple Park Museum this Friday. Featuring pieces that highlight the ordinary beauty we see every day. This is her sixth solo show and first show since 2017!

Freeze dried some spinach and then powdered for some smoothies today.
Pretty sure if I didnt say it was spinach, people would probably be thinking something else 🤷🏻‍♀️

That sunflower is almost 14 ft high, its my happy sunshiny face no matter where I am in the garden. I hope everyone has a great weekend, doing what you want in the heat and sun. 🤗🌞

We have lots of stuff coming off the garden rn, and Apocalypto will be going pretty cnstant in the next couple of months. Chives are always available and freeze dry with an incredible aroma and intense flavour. We use these as they are but making them into a powder makes them extremely versatile after freeze drying. 🤗
