About me

My name is Kiran Javed. I am a portraiture, wedding and destination photographer, content creator & a traveler residing in Windsor, Canada.

I picked up a camera when I was only 11 years old and my parents asked me to take their picture as a couple since there was no one else around to help them besides me and I am talking about a Film Camera, that was my very first introduction to the camera. By the time I turned 13, there were 2 blown up portrait shots of my beautiful mother and a shot of my younger sister decorating the living room and our drawing room, taken by me.

Since then I have been captivated and inspired by the beauty around me that comes in so many different shapes, forms and shades. I try to capture the person and the story in front of my camera in dreamy, romantic and at the same time natural way. I love realism, I love the comfort and the glory of wisdom that dawns on us with age and shines through every single wrinkle but I can provide the final results matching the liking of my clients rather than myself, after all it is about you and it is your story. While the subject is always the key factor in my images, I do tend to put a lot of thought in the background and details of the photo, in the outfits and appearance of the subject, that not only assign me the role of being a stylist, interior decorator but also the role of a makeup and hair artist.

I achieve my images with just simple techniques, simple setups and natural light mostly even though I do not mind the crisp images I can get with my flash photography. I share my art with you in the hopes of inspiring you to see yourself the way I see you and the universe sees you and to spread some of you back in the universe.
