Last week, Chef Shai prepared 30 orders of these mouth-watering lemon garlic potatoes for a catering client. If you haven't had the chance to try them yet, be sure to include them in your next catering order!
Did you know that we offer catered lunches and dinners? Last week, Chef Shai prepared a delicious lunch featuring chicken souvlaki, lemon potatoes, Greek salad, and incredible rice & cheese balls as a vegetarian option—all served with his homemade tzatziki. Altogether, he created 30 delicious meals for an office luncheon.

Earlier this month, we were honoured to host the Amherstburg Freedom Museum’s annual Emancipation Celebration Dinner and Dance. This year’s event honoured E. Andrea Moore with the Legacy Hero Award for her dedication to the community, the Museum, and the preservation of history. The event featured a musical performance by Trading Places, a silent auction, and a 50/50 raffle.

The committee would like to update all members and friends on the circumstances surrounding the upcoming Ensomatosi dance planned for March 2, 2024.
This year within our community multiple families have lost cherished and loved family members.
The association initially still pushed through to organize our annual dance as we did in the years passed. After much thought and consideration, we have decided to continue with the event but change its format to make it much less formal.
This year it will be a tavern style event, where the entry fee is $35 for any persons that are 6 years or older. Children 5 years old and under will be free entry.
Platters of food and drinks will be directly available for purchase from the hall on an individual basis.
The committee has decided to still put on this event as it allows us to celebrate our heritage and brings our community together at large. We sympathize with those who have lost a loved one, but also understand that this event brings many families together.
The committee hopes to see you on March 2nd, 2024 as we celebrate our tradition and the heritage of those who we have lost but will never forget.
