Technology continues to impact weddings in ways that your mama never dreamed about.

Websites, Instagram and pages connect couples to their guests and vendors in a way that wasn’t imaginable years ago. We just hope that the wedding invitation never goes away; they’re commemorative, sentimental and tactile, setting the stage for the look and feel of the entire day.

It’s too easy for your guests to lose them in their email boxes and RSVP can be a virtual nightmare when you have a large guest count. You can always use Evites for your Save the Date or a Bridal Shower invitation; it’s a lot easier to manage with less invited guests.

Your wedding hash tag is also a great way to broadcast your upcoming marriage and keep everyone on track and involved for the big day.

Invitations set the stage and the tone for the style of wedding you are hosting. It doesn't matter if you are computer savvy or environmentally conscious, make an effort to send all your guests a physical invitation and not an evite.

Be sure to keep up with the wedding gifts, as they arrive and send a handwritten thank you card.

It's good manners and your guests will know you actually received their gift.

Happy wedding anniversary to clients turned friends, Lisa and Adrian l, who got married in Jamaica two years ago.

Lisa was referred to me by a past client of mine. She and I quickly became friends even before we started working on anything. We got on a phone for a consultation and we hit it off.

Eva and I were planning to have our final stay-at-home breakfast meeting on the balcony this morning before we official head back to the studio on Monday but alas, it's raining cats and dogs.

We (when I say we, it's been mostly me, but she made me look fabulous in the process 😜🤣) have been plotting and prodding some exciting stuff. We can't wait to share with you.

After many years of hearing everyone and anyone praising "Dubsado" for all its awesomeness, I finally decided to check it out during lockdown last year. When I did, I had to file the divorce papers for the other CRM I was trying out. ⁣

What is Dubsado you ask? It is a client relations management tool. It streamline your business through organization and automation. In layman's term, it makes you stop scheduling meetings, sending proposals, contract and invoice manually. ⁣

CHECKING IN-HOW'S 2021 SO FAR?//For once, January didn't seem like it was going on forever. They say when life gives you lemon, you make lemonade. Maybe January flew by for me because I'm over making a whole lot of lemonade. Soon I will let you know more about these lemonade. ⁣

Want to hear the weirdest coincidence? In my day job at a law firm, it's just me and my boss. The person who was my boss' assistant prior to me, her birthday is January 5. The gut that does our collections, his birthday is TODAY! We had 2 articling student whose birthday is, you guessed it, TODAY! Another friend of mine shares the same birthday as well. I just want to know what is going on in March/April 😜⁣

2020 WAS A YEAR OF LEARNING AND GROWTH//It's been a test of our strength and resilience. Despite the wedding industry taking a significant hit, losing close friends unexpectedly and some health issues, still I choose to look at the positive things that came with the pandemic:⁣
• Networking with amazing people virtually that I may never have met⁣
• Learning and developing new skills (you will learn more about this in the next couple of months)⁣
• Being grateful for the people who supported me, including clients, vendors, coaches, accountability partners, coaches⁣
• Learning that asking for help is not a weakness. It means you are strong enough to know your community. ⁣
⁣
As we say goodbye to 2020, let's start 2021 with a new sense of purpose. ⁣
⁣
I am excited about upcoming launches and new partnerships in the coming months. I thank you for your continued support and look forward to working with you in 2021.⁣
