After 35 years of a rewarding yet demanding career in event planning, the time has come for me to embrace semi-retirement. I’m looking forward to savoring life, cherishing time with family and friends, and exploring the world through travel. The past 14 years as Client Service Manager at Ambassador Golf Club have been nothing short of extraordinary—a truly remarkable chapter in my journey.
I owe immense gratitude to so many incredible people who have supported me along the way. First, to the extraordinarily talented Chef Daniele—my steadfast partner, mentor, and dear friend. Your unwavering strength and guidance have taught me so much, and it has been a true privilege to work alongside you, creating unforgettable memories for our clients. Your kindness and generosity toward your staff never go unnoticed, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you’ve done.
To Laura, our "mother hen," who takes care of everyone, especially me—thank you for always ensuring I had everything I needed. To the kitchen staff, who showed up every day with smiles and a can-do attitude, ready to bring my ideas to life, I am endlessly grateful. To the banquet and grill staff, many of whom have been by my side for years, your loyalty and dedication to excellence have been invaluable.
To Adam, Cale, and Alex, thank you for introducing me to the intricate world of golf and tournaments, and for always rescuing me from my IT woes! To Jessica, the new Client Service Manager, it has been such a pleasure working with you over these past few months. Your energy, passion, and love for event planning make you the perfect person to uphold the exceptional standard of service that defines us.
To the amazing wedding industry vendors, thank you for the camaraderie, laughter, and collaboration during those busy setup days. Finally, to my cherished clients: thank you for trusting me with your most special moments and for welcoming me into your lives as though I were part of your family.
As I reflect on my career, I am reminded of a favorite quote that has always guided me:
"Your smile is your logo, your personality is your business card, and how you leave others feeling after an experience with you becomes your trademark."
It has been my sincere hope to embody this sentiment throughout my career, and I can only hope I’ve left a lasting impact on the lives I’ve touched.
