I retired early on Feb. 28th, 2011 from my 1st career after 27 years of teaching elementary students all subjects including French! I found an opportunity to be the 'Windsor Wedding Assistant', so, it was time to move on . I began working with my first bride and groom in January, 2011 and they married in June, 2011. Thus far, I
have coordinated 10 weddings and recently, was a hostess at 1 engagement dinner. Couples who wish to plan their own special day, but who would like the help on the day of the wedding or before to help coordinate, problem solve and ensure their dream becomes a reality in a smooth manner, would benefit by hiring me. Also, I am skilled at assisting with partial or full planning and coordination. Parties, special occasions, large family dinners sometimes require a hostess to ensure everyone is able to enjoy time with their guests. My newest venture has been moving on from 'Windsor Wedding Assistant' to 'Whimsical Events by Jackie'. Feeling so blessed to have worked with so many special clients and vendors and looking forward to continuing to help even more clients! Being fluent in English and French and possessing a great conversational ability in Spanish , along with being single and readily available to travel, allow me to assist couples with Destination Weddings as well.
