We will be off the first week of February to spend much needed time with family! ☀️🕶️

The store will be closed this week and we'll be returning to regular business hours on Tuesday, February 10th.

12 Days of Party Tips — No. 12: Dealing with Post-Party Blues 🥲

Have you ever felt the post-party blues? When all of the work you put in paid off but has come to an end and now you just don’t know what to do with yourself? When you’re sad it’s all over? When you have to clean up the aftermath?

(Christmas usually has this same effect 🎄🙃)

I feel you… and I’ve been there! Usually results in comfy clothes and a chill day-after. *pyjamas + a nice cup o’ joe on deck*

This is why capturing memories of the party/event are important — something to help you remember all the fun you had and what came of your entire planning process!

Not to mention, if you do the party planning process right, your guests will be talking about it for weeks to come 😏

12 Days of Party Tips — No. 11: Choose the Right Location📍

There are a few things to think of when picking a spot for your next event:

✨ how many people does it need to hold?
✨ do they provide food or will you need a caterer?
✨ how close is it in proximity to the majority of your guests?
✨ does it have the amenities you need?

Depending on your event, you may want something that’s a little bit smaller and more intimate OR something grand and open.

You may need something that has food options available. These are all things to consider!

Our space here at Pretty Little Party is available for rent — photo studio/party room, kitchenette/table and chairs. Might be a good fit for your next event!

If party planning isn’t your thing, hey, I’m Kori, and it is totally mine!

Sometimes we get caught up in the idea of throwing a party but we really don’t know where to start, what vendors to hire, what decor to do, what theme to pick, how to pick the right music, how to set a dress code etc… it’s a lot but I’ve been doing it for yeaaaaars.

I always joke and say that I’m your party-planning bestie in your back pocket but it’s TRUE. It’s what I’m here for!
