This Friday, we’re screening another iconic film with q***r themes - Heavenly Creatures, starring Kate Winslet and Melanie Lynskey. Two teenage girls develop a deep, obsessive, sapphic friendship; their parents, concerned that the friendship is too intense and gay, separate them, and the girls take revenge.

Despite being dark, this is a fun watch with elements of thriller / crime / horror / romance / psychological drama / fantasy / dark comedy - with gorgeous visuals and really cute romance & friendship scenes.
