Went to Nashville. Did all the tourist things, went to a bunch of shows. The show that convinced me it was time to go again was “You Got Gold”, a John Prine tribute with a lineup that was not announced until the artists stepped on the stage. House band included Jason Wilber and Fats Kaplin. Here’s who we saw:

Two nights with the fabulous Terra Lightfoot

Big energy full band rock n roll show on Saturday at the Times that covered all the hits, and an intimate solo performance at the Second Chance Saloon on Sunday which included a number of shiny new songs

First time seeing local Erika Fowler last night. Set included a healthy dose of the classic country sound we love around here. Roman Clarke keeping time out of view. Our people will definitely be in discussions with her people.
