Please be advised - Chabad's Kitchen will be closed Friday September 30th in observance of Truth & Reconciliation Day.
Our RHS Menu will be open for Breaking Fast Orders until Friday morning @ 10AM and for Sukkot until Tuesday October 4th.
Pick up for Breaking Fast orders will be Tuesday October 4th 1:00 - 3:00
Pick up for Sukkot will be Friday Oct. 7th 2:30 - 4:30

We ask that you only use our Rosh Hashana menu when ordering during the holidays (Rosh Hashana, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, Simchat Torah) - Code RHS for this menu

The First Roofs Used Clay, Stone, and Hay

When the first people got tired of living in caves, they wanted to build a structure that could let them live in an open field while keeping themselves protected from the surroundings . They usually used clay to build their walls, and then they discovered they could also use clay to make a roof.

Today, asphalt shingle is by far the most popular form of roofing material. It lasts a long time and is relatively low cost. They have only been around for roughly 100 years, but they certainly do the job of protecting the modern home well

Hanukkah is associated with lighting candles in the evenings as the whole family gathers near Menorah to perform this beautiful and complete mystery of the ritual in memory of those ancient times when G’d worked wonders and people believed in them! But real miracles were performed and performed by people! When the world is struck by a global pandemic and it seems everything is falling apart .. Our people will celebrate our bright holiday of Hanukkah. The victory of light over darkness! Victory of the human spirit and faith over circumstances...
