HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!

I’m going to try to keep this brief and it will be my last post on behalf of Gags Unlimited closing.

I would like to thank you ALL! Your help, support, and kindness has been the most important and meaningful part of this journey.

A shout to all of you who have been sharing, coming in, coming back, calling, messaging and telling your friends about us. Thank you Winnipeg Free Press, CTV News, and Hot 100.5, for letting me say a bit about my story and allowing me to discuss the issues that challenges affecting small business and families. Thank you to the Social Media sites that allowed me to post and people to comment and share and get my message out. I know there is more sites, but the Halloween Map and Penny Pinchers were the two most mentioned. Thank you to Grant Park High School Drama and Sewing department for loading up on costumes for your productions! Thank you Teen Challenge for grabbing up the makeup to raise funds for such a great cause, I hope you do well! Special thanks to a those of you that came in throughout the sale many times…you know who you are! I enjoyed every ones company and support, we even had some good laughs, you guys are awesome! I would like to end by sharing a new perspective that my experience has given me. Today I purposely shopped at a different pet store because it is a small business. The other day my husband said we are out of honey so I got on market place to see who our local farmers are. I may not be able to do it all the time, but I intend to make it a priority to find small businesses and local people to support every chance I get. I am very grateful and you have all made a difficult situation so much better.

There is furniture, fixtures and some items left I will try to post on the sale sites a little at a time. I apologize for any messages or calls I missed, it’s a lot for one person to handle. Well, I tried something on Sunday while I was waiting for people to come pick up some furniture. The people who happened to see the open sign out really seemed to like it!
90% off the original price means things are as low as 10 cents.
Crystals, titanium body jewelry, balloons, costumes. Everything!

This weeks hours:
open Thursday, Friday, 1pm to 6pm
Saturday and Sunday 1 to 5 pm

I hope you are not getting tired of me telling you how amazing and supportive Manitobans have been. A little shout out to 100.5, Alix spoke about us on the radio and it brought 2 people in within an hour. How wild is that! That's not all, people who come in tell me they are going to tell their people. With absolute gratitude, thank you!

I can't keep this going forever, but I also can't keep this inventory or furniture. Please, one last time see if there is anything you could use from Gags Unlimited. 185 Henderson hwy.

Hi everyone! I think this will be my last post in effort to empty my space. I'm hoping one last week of sales will get us to the finsih line. It's challenging trying to get the inventory in order, I'm so grateful my daughter and grandson came to help me try to organize and clean up yesterday., it was getting overwhelming to say the least lol.

This weeks hours will be posted at the bottom of this post. There is still so much great stuff that has to go!

It may be selfish to say, but this experience during the past few weeks, has shown me how incredible and supportive our community is.

I've noticed people making purchases that are well thought out considerate choices. There is a spacific reason or person that they are thinking of when a product gets to the counter. I love that we are thoughtful and purposeful!

Some of the occasions people are thinking of, like graduation, may not be tomorrow or next week but the items are small enough to store, and they won't get a price like this again!

So THIS WEEK 80% off EVERYTHING or 50% off FLAT RATE( already reduced items)
S5.00 tights are now $2.50 per pair
$1.99 is now $0.40 😲

I'm happy to say all of our makeup has gone to a good place where it will help raise money for Teen Challenge. 🙏

THIS IS IT! OUR FINAL EVENING WITH THE DEPARTED!
Join us for one last event at the Hamilton House. This "Evening with the Departed" will be like no other! Our hosts will guide you through the house in small groups, as you make your way, each medium will share spirit messages with you in their unique way!
Will there be table tipping? Oh yes there is, we will have two table tipping sessions with Rev. Julie Kennish. Mid way through we will gather for a break to enjoy quick refreshments and the first table tipping session of the night. Afterwards we will head back to your messaging tour for the second half of your visit.
To wrap up our evening there will be a meet and greet photo opportunity and one last table tipping session. We have brought back hosts and mediums that have shared this space with us for the past 3 years for one last night of fun and fabulous spirit connection!

Hi everyone! Wow, Sept 29th we closed the door to general sales, and as promised the furniture and fixtures are up for sale!

You are all so remarkable! There were definitely a some people who came in once, twice, and even three times or more to support and help close out.

The great conversations and time spent my last days were truely unexpected and made me feel remarkably blessed that Gags Unlimited meant so much to our community and the people here.

We will have an open house from noon to 5 on Saturday October 5th. There is still so much stock, it's challenging trying to get this stuff in order by myself.

Hi everyone! Wow, we are at our LAST week of clearance!
You are all so remarkable! Getting to spend time with the people who stopped in has really meant alot to me. The stories, the well wishes and thank yous in posts, phone calls and emails...the people who come in and say "you have a lot of cool stuff here" yes we do! And it all has to go! It's Wednesday and there is 4.5 days left of Gags Unlimited.

Everything that ends in .99 or .95 is reduced and now 70% OFF. If it has a flat value like 1.00 or 10.00 that is already 70 to 90% off and I'm going to take an extra 20% off flat rate items. What does that look like, items that are $11.99 are now 3.60 or a $5.00 item is $4.00!

Sept 29th will be our last day of operation. Everything is on sale and must be sold! Please help me clear out the store.

Hi everyone! Wow, we are past our first week of clearance, and getting to spend time with the people who stopped, in has really ment alot to me. Hey guys first of all I would love give a shout out to the people who supported Gags Unlimited 185 Henderson Hwy last week! Thank you very much! We had some Halloween map people come grab unique stuff for their yards, a couple couples grabbed items for their social and we had people picking items for themselves and gifts.

Your support is appreciated more then I can say and I love talking to people about their plans, thank you!
