***I had an amazing experience today!
I've seen it emerging but from the mouth of babies.

I had 9 grade 2 students today. And, they were restless and distracted by others in the library. But as soon as I said a word in Anishinaabemowin it's like they came alive.
What's this word what's that word. How do you say it in Cree.

It lasted about 10 minutes.
I was typing things in the apps I didn't know (lots I don't know of course) but I tell you it was absolutely remarkable how they just lapped it up.

Our babies want to speak the language. It makes them excited and feel closer to who they are. They hear so many kids speaking their languages from other countries. They want it!!!

I couldn't find a word for Dinosaur?!? And
Fist Pump ( Lol I had a rising up t-shirt on)

Any help would be appreciated in translation. Haha and even better if any fluent speakers want to join in, even via FaceTime etc!! Haha it was so fun.
I meet with them every day 5 morning.
