Freshcut Downtown was in Portage Place Shopping Centre has been owned and operated by sisters Monica and Melanie since May 1995. Current address 190 smith st.

Monica’s background is in business and management while Melanie’s great interest and talent is in floral design with training locally, as well as in Alberta and Holland. Throughout the year, Melanie often offers enthusiastic workshops for hands on training. Melanie has also participated in several television specials with the latest one on CTV morning Live. Our shop is located in the heart of the

Winnipeg and offers full services to both the corporate as well as the personal needs of that community. We have participated in the Tenant Advisory Committee and the Downtown Biz. While we are committed to the downtown of Winnipeg, we also serve the entire city.

Attention beverage and flower lovers! Join us Mon Mar 24th to celebrate spring. Make your own modern spring gold hoop wreath to take home. Perfect decor to welcome the fresh months ahead. Grab your friends & have a wonderful evening out celebrating the change of season!

Supplies included:
Gold hoop, 5-7 stem mix of seasonal stems plus greenery/filler and assembly supplies to make a "half hoop" style dried wreath .

Please bring any tools you may have on hand such as garden clippers, scissors or paring knife.

This workshop fee covers flowers and supplies only, beers and other beverages can be purchased separately at the venue for you to enjoy while you work.

Please mention in comments if you have other friends coming that you would like to sit with. We make a seating plan for each workshop. Only people with tickets can be seated in the workshop area!

Please note once tickets are purchased there are no refunds or date changes. If you have an unexpected emergency you can pick up a kit from the shop the day after the event.
